*looked up what the colbert report is on wikipedia*
So, unfortunately here in middle europe i can't get any american tv-channels other than CNN but my main question is: why is there the Star of David the symbol of the Jews and Israel on the Telephone? And does Maxwell have phones with crosses on them?

It's Stephen's bit for Yom Kippur or one of the other big Jewish holidays around their New Year. Basically it's for Jews who have wronged him in the last year to call and ask for forgiveness.

Mean ol' Pip! How dare he hit Schroe with a broom like that! Just for that, I bet Schroe's going to try munching his hair off in his sleep. XD

That would be funny to see. Although it was Schroe's fault for the mess; Seras (who was about to take responisbility) got side-tracked; leaving Pip to clean up the mess (since he is on probation); Schroe's playing around Pip (who is cleaning Schroe's mess) is just going to irritate Pip more (so he will try to ease his dilemma by trying to get the cat-boy to help clean up).

Overall, this might lead to some friendly bonding between Pip and the cat-boy.

Why does Pip have such a girly apron?

On second thoughts, this is Pip. I'm not sure I want to know.

it's always interesting to see which guys in my country's history are well know and honored in other countries!
i agree with the ones you said, but i would also add heroes of the french résistance, like jean Moulin, or philosophes living at the time of the french revolution, who wrote the declaration of human rights (Diderot or Voltaire)
or Vercingetorix (i love losers!)

it's me again!
i'll do the same thing in a reverse way:
i'm a french woman, with universitary study level, but not in history or geography.
if you ask me the names of historic american figures, i would tell you: Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington, Martin luther king, Roosevelt, Kennedy, and that black woman who refused to sit on the back of the bus (but i don't remenber her name).
would an American choose the same names, or do you find my choice strange?

You know... after thinking more about the storyline, I have an idea about WHAT HUNT Alucard wants Seras to go on. But I won't tell!

BTW - Pip may want to watch out who he hits with a broom - they DO have two ends, y'know.

Those are pretty much the 'mainstream' choices. I think they'd make up most of a top 10 or 20 list drawn up over here, especially for political figures. Some people might throw in Patton or Robert E. Lee, John Wilkes Booth or Lee Harvey Oswald, [random preacher here since I don't care enough to learn their names] to round out the list depending on regional or political bias.

Oh, and Thomas Paine, whom the French should've done the world the favour of hanging/guillotining when they had the chance. He's like an 18th century version of Bill O'Reilly. Not necessarily in his political views, but in how he goes about broadcasting them.

Also, which Roosevelt? And which Kennedy? There were two Roosevelts who became president and a whole clan of Kennedys, two of whom were shot.

She was Rosa Parks, by the way. And the first woman to lie in honor at the U.S. Capitol Rotunda.

Now as an American, I doubt anyone is going to disagree with your list, but regionalism can play a strong role in the personal heroes list. Which is why I can give the answer that I admire Robert E. Lee for fighting for his convictions and Lincoln for his.

So apparently the flowers have a weakness: they don't let Integra see someone who's everywhere and nowhere. Hm.

First it seals away the fangirl portal, then it blocks Shroe from her vision. Truly, the Flowers of Perun are opposed to all that is cute yet annoying.

I can think of three things about this strip:

1) Schro can be useing his powers to randomly disappear

2) Or a sidde effect of the leaves is that she can't see him.......I wonder if she can hear him?

3) Was Reselda this much trouble? eatting plants? spilling rice? well obvioulsy she was a cute kitty
