Well, the only two options left for Alucard is to either: A)stay in that "state" forever, or B)to come back and exist as a human. Frankly, I'm not happy with how he went out, so I have my hopes up for him coming back to exist period.

I'll most likely be disappointed though.

I think don't think he's dead. In fact, Major describes him as being neither dead nor alive. What's happened is that he's vanished from existence (something that I think differs distinctly from being dead).

That means he's everywhere and nowhere. I was correct: he absorbed Schroe's powers and it teleported him to every point in existence simultaneously.

Unfortunately for the Major, Alucard can probably adapt. He proved adept at wrapping his mind around inhuman vampiric powers, so what's a few more freaky abilities? Still looking forward to Kittycard.

I think that the way Major explains it is like this actually:

First, Major says that Schroedinger's existence is self-observing, meaning he can exist everywhere and nowhere by simply acknowledging himself. Since absorbing Schroe's blood caused Alucard and all the other millions of souls to merge with him, Schroe can't recognize himself anymore. And this causes Schroe, Alucard, and every other soul that merged with him to cease to exist, so technically they're just "nowhere", but if we wanna be consistent we might could say they're everywhere too.

So if there's anyway that Alucard can recognize himself, in whatever form, he'll exist again. But hey, I've come to believe that if a fan predicts it, then it's sure not to happen.

Integra says, "Alucard, I love you!"

Per the laws of anime (confessions of love have greater power than a nuclear explosion, add tears to that and reality itself can be altered) and the law of "Integra kicks ass," Alucard will suddenly pop back into being.

As real as an imaginary number? Hm...

I remember those, but as a friend once put it: "You don't know what kind of numbers I can imagine!"

I'm now thinking of -0i. A shape shifting any-number that feeds on the blood of math students. This strange number can and often does move to any spot of an equation at anytime, regardless of being put there or not by the writer.


(-0i is basically -0 * sqrt-x or something. Which, as far as I know, doesn't technically exist with the whole -0 and multiplying two negatives by zeros and variables and crap.)

All this proves is that I need to get a life. I've been so sure Alucard would die for so long now (obviously. I wuvv him, so why shouldn't he??) that I howled. I still am.

I know he probably won't go out that easily, knowing him. I still howl. I hope my wife can slap some sense into me.
