Minds of Millennium
Minds of Millennium
(Thread title is a bad reference to "Mind of Mencia," a show I don't watch, but cringe at the ads for on Comedy Central.)
SCHROE IS ADORABLE! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!
*Recovers from fanboyish squealing*
Okay, this is the plot I thought it was. We should get to see a little device I thought of for the Doc to invent in Millennium's quest to make Hellsing's lives miserable. (The Doc is a great character to write for; mad scientists are awesome plot devices since they can literally invent anything.)
Lots of gratuitous catboy scenes ahead! (I like catboys, almost as much as catgirls and glasses.)

Yay! More Millennium!!!
I hope we see a lot of the Major. He's just too insane to not be funny, in a scary, sad sort of way.

As I told Erin when I pitched it a few months back, every comic usually has a story like this. The trick is to keep it short and interesting because it is so commonly used.Frey wrote:I look forward to seeing what happens in this storyline. I am surprised that others had also suggested this type of storyline.

Okay, let's get something straight.Xuanwu wrote:As I told Erin when I pitched it a few months back, every comic usually has a story like this.
Xu pitched the idea of body-swapping as a small part of a larger arc. Frey actually suggested the idea earlier, as a longer standalone storyline. And a quick glance at my email reveals that people have mentioned switching bodies as early as 2004.
Furthermore, almost all of the actual material - the events, the punch lines, the specifics of who gets switched with who, not to mention the art and writing - come directly from me. This isn't one of those storylines where I've hammered out detailed outlines (as with Shine Or Die) or bounced dialog back and forth (as with A Lovely Trick) with a collaborator. Aside from the premise and a few specific gags that Frey sent me, this story is mine.
Kindly move beyond the issue of who had which ideas and just enjoy the cute catboys.
Thank you.

Sorry about that. I was not trying to imply this story arc was "mine."SailorPtah wrote:Okay, let's get something straight.
My main point to Frey was addressing his surprise that others had thought of an idea along these lines. I, for one, think it'd pretty normal that multiple people would think of this idea since it's a commonly used motif. That's all I was getting at.
Moving on...
I showed the comic to a few friends. All of them love the Schroe. So cute catboys are definitely a good way to boost readership!

I was at my friend Bill's house and his dad has no less than 4 different remotes for the TV and stereo system, all of which are actually used regularly. He also has a PC hooked up to the TV as a monitor. nothing in that house is easy to turn on.I can see Doc as being the type of guy to have a remote for everything...including the kitchen sink.
also, Schro's slipper=adorable
As far as tactics are concerned, I recommend cheating.

You know, waking up as the opposite gender is a little shocking at first, but you'd be surprised how quickly you get used to it. Sure there is that awkward period were you first see yourself naked or when you first have to use the restroom, but after a few days it stops being quite as hot/disturbing. It's still a little odd, but life is that way anyways.

Frankly, gender change is such a common occurrence to me that I don't even bat an eye anymore.I wrote:Gender: *checks pants* Hmmm... male right now, but that's been know to change at random moments.
Care to try it?

Agree I did the same nice experience. <3Xuanwu wrote:(The Doc is a great character to write for; mad scientists are awesome plot devices since they can literally invent anything.)
If it wasn´t a bodychangeing story, then I wouldn´t blame shrö anyways. The wuzz they make about chars genders here in germany would make me confused too

But whoever has been warped into schrö right now: I would be more puzzled about the ears, than about the blonde hair.

What I'm wondering is, is this the Schroe we know (since it's implied that bodies have being switched). And if not, who else in Millenium would go to sleep in Hello Kitty Slippers?
Personally, I think everyone in Millenium wears a different pair of cute slippers. ^^
