BAD pun! BAD! And if you want a...'fusion' of names, Andertrunks is the better one
In the name of Integra, Impure sodas of evil friends shall be banished into eternal fizzy damnation--away from the mangas.

I was considering either Vegederson or Andertrunks. The latter's only because of the base sprite, though.
VEGETERSON PLEZ.
VEGEDERSON DOES FIT BETTER WHEN YOU CONSIDER THE PERSONALITY AND RELATIONSHIP WITH THE MALE LEAD..

BUT IT DOESN'T ROLL OFF THE TONGUE THE SAME WAY ANDERTRUNKS DOES. QA0SAD9FY-9td78asdfausk Naming stuff isn't my strong point, anyway. =D

As far as tactics are concerned, I recommend cheating.

I can't even draw a proper helicopter; what makes you think I'd be able to draw a mecha?

That said, if someone more technically adept could design it, I'd love to play with the idea.
I'm tempted to do so. Which makes me wonder what would happen if ever Pip got hold of it.

Seing Shonecard with the Goku hairstyle made me wonder... how would a Hellsing adaptation of "Journey to the west" would be...
Integral would definately be the priest... but Seras and walter? Pip would be the pig XD

I found a spelling mistake in todays comic, the correct form would be Letzte Battalion or letzten Battalions (if you translate the whole sentence into german)

Walters easy-He'd be Sandy! (or Shā Wùjìng, if we're being technical)
As Winkipedia puts it...
...given the name Friar Sand or Sandy in English, was once the Curtain Raising General, who stood in attendance by the imperial chariot in the Hall of Miraculous Mist. He was exiled to the mortal world and made to look like a monster because he accidentally smashed a crystal goblet belonging to the Heavenly Queen Mother during the Peach Banquet. The now-hideous immortal took up residence in the Flowing Sands River, terrorizing the surrounding villages and travelers trying to cross the river. However, he was subdued by Sūn Wùkōng and Zhū Bājiè when the Sānzàng party came across him. They consequently took him in to be a part of the pilgrimage to the West...
...Shā Wùjìng is known to be the most obedient, logical, and polite of the three disciples, and always takes care of his master, seldom engaging in the bickeries of his fellow-disciples. Ever reliable, he carries the luggage for the travellers. Perhaps this is why he is sometimes seen as a minor character; the lack of any particular perks confers the lack of distinguishing and/or redeeming characteristics.
I'm not too sure about where Seras would fit in though...seeing as none of the 5 main Characters in Journey to the West fit her.
Perhaps the Dragon Prince, though I think this character would fit Alucards backstory better!
Saved from execution to serve Tripitaka as a horse-and if I remember correctly, he sometimes acted as a bodyguard. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong please, it's been a very long time since I last read/saw a translation of Journey to the West.

I'm on it. I don't like japanese mecha too much, (I perfer the American tank-on-legs model to the Japanese attack-of-the-60-foot-ninja model, though I love the concept when it's scaled down to an armoured suit, like Starship Trooper's Mobile Infantry or Legacy of Aldenata's ACS units... sorry, nerd attack.) but I think I can design something kick ass for Alucard, Anderson and the rest of those crazies. I only wish I had the time to draw a comic about it.

My Journey to the West match up:

Sun Wukong = Alucard
Xuanzang = Integra
Pigsy = Pip (the comedy relief)
Friar Sand = Walter
Guanyin, Goddess of Mercy = Seras
Dragon Prince = Doggycard
White Boned Demon = Rippy
Green Lion Demon = Schroe (as a Green Catboy Demon)

It would actually be very interesting to make this a comic. I remember reading the whole story when I was a kid (I read the four volume Anthony Yu version with all 100 chapters - took me several months to polish off).

I can't see Seras as Guanyin, simply because he/she is technically a male in a female form. Seras's D-cups would ruin the androgynous image. Or make it extremely funny. Either one. And personally, I see Shroe as the fire boy, with the Captain as his daddy, the Bull Demon.

Oh yea... I'm new :) if anyone's wondering who this person that just randomly appeared is. Elin knows who I am... I usually just browse the convo, but I had to comment on this one because I love Journey to the West. ^^

As far as I know the japanese version Kannon is a woman... and also it was kind of confused with the virgin Mary many times...

I picked Seras for humor. A female Buddhist with a giant rack? Very funny.

Makes me wish I could draw. That would be a beautiful sight to behold.

Agreed. I cannot recall any gags in any various entertainment that has a female Buddhist with a giant rack (correct me if I am wrong).
