That would be amazing. But I think she'd let Alucard in on it...

Maybe I'm focusing too much on why he's not allowed to go... Just watch--the cake will only end up being something minor and we're all thinking too much about it. What about the socks? There has to be a reason she's taking so many.

I don't think so...maybe they're for sock puppets? Oh! I've got it! They're going to crash Enrico's party, drop the cake on him, and then put on a puppet show of Iscariot and Hellsing sock puppets fighting and the Iscariot socks getting their....uh...whatever socks have kicked!!!!!

Ok, rather far-fetched, but it would be amusing....

Sock puppets was actually the first thing that came to mind when I saw that strip, though.

If there is a party crash, the party crashers would probably be Iscariot than Hellsing(it is usually Iscariot that attacks or insults Hellsing first).

I managed to work them into a Hellsing themed RPG I've been GMing. I portrayed them as an all-female group that operated as individuals, as they were all powerful regenerators. I wonder what the organization will be like in Shine?

Something has occurred to me that's not quite relevant but applies to this strip. You all remember Fundamental, the not-so-tough alternate Integra who showed up in that time traveling storyline, right?

There's that silly argument about Integral vs Integra as the character's name. Has anyone thought about what Fundamental's name can be shortened to?

For some reason or another I quite beleive the cake and socks are there to throw us for a loop and the plot is going to involve something else......maybe with a big shiny ship but don't mind me, I'm crazy.

It's Alucard's birthday. Integra is going off to use her familiy's extensive occult know-how. The soul of the cake will possess the socks, creating a powerful sock monster that will reign terror over England. Alucard's gets to kill it for his birthday present. What else do you get for the Vampire who has done everything?

Seriously though, Integra was looking at a map of Continental Europe and has Round Table permission to go. She's definately leaving the country, so that rules out any Briton. She could be taking an apology cake and some socks to all the orphan kids left over from Alucard and Seras's Brazil Trip (That's a lot of dead news reporters).

EDIT: Of course, having said that, Brazil isn't very close to europe, generally speaking.
