The title of this story comes from an Ingmar Bergman quote: a kiss is "a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous."

It has other uses too, though ^_~

So, ladies and gents, place your bets now:

Who's going to end up kissing who?

Make a list of characters. Hang it on your wall. Throw two darts at it. Then flip a coin.

If it comes up heads, say that the first character will kiss the second. If it comes up tails, guess that the second one you hit will kiss the first.

I guess Pip will kiss Integra, just because of the hilarity value of that scene...And the moments immediately following the initial surprise. As for any additional kisses, I dunno. I'll use the dart+coin method for those.

I guess that Pip will try to kiss Seras at least once. I'm not so sure about the success rate, however...

I can only hope for an AxI kiss. >w<

I'm gonna predict that Michelle, the 9 year old daughter of this member of the Wild Geese, will visit her daddy at work and give him a peck on the cheek.

Deffinatley Pip and Seras......Hoping for AXI........Possibly sorta hoping for a WXA flashback.....*crosses fingers*

Well, Pip/Seras seems likley, although im not certain whether it will be successful. As for PxI, well, it seems interesting. And quite possibly fatal. I could see it happening though. I was bored so i went and used the dart-coin method, ending up with Alucard kissing Seras.

As for me, I am not going to make any predictions as to who kisses who. I am just going to sit back and see what happens.

Huh? What happened to the Research and Development plot? One story strip ago Pip was carrying Seras back, and now he is suddenly in Integra's Office with nothing in between (except for the Authors notes stuff, but whatever).
Is this intentionaly or were you just to lazy to have Pip put Seras to bed, say something romantic & cliché, before going on with the story? Your sudden changes of pace disrupts the flow of the comic...

Pip's idea was not heard by Integra or Alucard. So, Pip's idea is still there waiting to be implemented by Hellsing (if it ever does). Sorry to be a bit critical.

I'm guessing Walter x Alucard. Because it's the funniest one I can think of.

What if by sheer clumsyness and bad luck, Pip and Walter unintentionaly end up kissing each other. With the whole drama all occuring in slow-motion with Alucard, Integra, and Seras witnessing it with dumbfounded looks then laughing so hard about it.

I do not think that this will actually happen in the storyline; just something funny that I thought of.

Well...I have two guesses, one of which I know is right and the other is wrong because Erin told me so last night. I'm just not sure which is which.

and theres supposed to be one that I haven't guessed, so I'm gonna say....Pip and Integra, because it would be funny, and they're the first ones to appear in the strip.

Oh, a bit off topic, but who else cheered at today's comic? The glasses had it coming, they really did. *shudders at the thought of them*

Hm, based on that, I can think of another potential kissing pair: Integra and Seras. It was off panel before. A kiss like that in front of Pip might serve some purpose. Not sure what.

(It might also setup the next storyline, which I think I know something about.)

Maybe Integra could just tell Pip to smoke cigars instead of cigarettes.

They're two separate storylines, and my modus operandi for storyline changes is to yank you out of one and drop you into the next. These just happen to have similar themes (Pip slouching about the mansion talking to people).

Also, I am actually moving very fast to get to a certain event by Valentine's Day, so I didn't have time for filler.

I will state that two of the kissing pairs have been guessed (although few people are speculating about which member of the pair kisses the other, which is important).
