LMAO! I prefer shorts under the kilt (dig it).

Though the are historian-traditionalists who go to the US/Canadian Scottish games in traditional regalia.

"Let the wind blow high, let the wind blow low.
Through the streets in a kilt i go.
All the lasses say 'hello,' Donald where's your trousers"

Could it be "community college"?

I don't speak Austrian, but I bet "akademie" is "college".

thanks for the welcome

so after a short visit at babelfish i know now that 'handelsakademie' free translated means in english: commercial academy but i think the word our professor used was commercial college (or colleague is there a difference beetween college and colleague?) so 'akademie' can be translated to academy and college.

A "colleague" is a person that you work with; a "college" is an academy (although we don't use the word "academy" much any more; it's fancy and old-fashioned). So, yes, they're different ^_^

I'm glad you got it cleared up.

I am the insane sketch of a raven on the blackboard in violet chalk,
The blood on the roses, and the shadow that walks,
I am the Mad Hatter, Drinking tea, Killing time,
I am the voice that you hear in your mind.

Favorite storyline: I find most of them enjoyable.
Other Info: I cosplayed Alucard to NekoCon '05 where I met an Integra that is now my coworker (took us two hr or so of working together to realise this). Hello my name is Tania and I am from Mazatlán, México =) Hello to everybody.
I'm 19 and I am studing History at Mexico City. I'm a huge Hellsing fan since the first moment I saw the original tv series somewhere in the 2002-2003.
I am very adicted to the manga and I am always waiting for the next chapter.
My favorite anime is Utena, I love all the simbolism and plotwists on it.
My favorite Shine storyline would be... mmm could be the doctor zeus christmas homage or the one the tv villians are in hell.
I have been following shine for some time now but I am kind of shy about writing emails so I emailed Erin even if I think she is doing a really good job.

Now that I introduced myself I think it will be less awkward to post in other topics now, nice to meet you =)

Name: Glenn
age: 17
location: Georgia (and not the European country)
Favorite Hellsing character: In order: Walter, Integra, Alucard, Seres, Yumiko, Heinkel, Anderson
how long i've been reading the comic: about two months
Favorite storyline: definitely the ROD crossover, though I enjoyed the fangirl stories. The Scooby Doo storyline looks promising so far as well.
other info: I'm a self-described rabid shoujo-ai fanboy, though I'd be lying if I said I didn't like any shonen-ai pairings. I also love Hellsing, Read Or Die, Doctor Who, Discworld, Sandman, Kingdom Hearts, Utena, Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, Ranma 1/2, Excel Saga, Evangelion, Xenosaga, Negima, and fanfiction of the above. I enjoy writing, drawing, reading (novels, webcomics, manga, etc.) and I'm currently applying to go to West Georgia University next year (I'm a high school senior, though that's probably obvious).
Palindromes swing both ways.

Since I'm new, might as well do this...

Name: Courtney
age: 13
location: new york
Favorite Hellsing character: Enrico Maxwell
how long i've been reading the comic: about 2 months or so.
Favorite storyline: the catholicon one, along with the christmas one.
other info: I like Hellsing, Deathnote, Dracula, basically anything with a good dark storyline. I like writing fanfiction, and playing video games, occasionally drawing-depending on my mood, and reading (especially Stephen King-"Salem's Lot" is my fav so far.)

Anyway, that about it, I suppose...

Favorite Hellsing character: Bondagecard
Been reading since: 'been reading Shine since this October 2006...been a Hellsing fan since the anime came out a couple of years back.
Fave story: I love the fan girls. Can't help it...though Catholicon was cute since I grew up in a ::GASP::: northern Catholic school with the little plaid uniform skirt and knee high socks. I can't wait for Set and the others to finally escape Hades. I look forward to the chaos that will bring.
Other info: I've got my BFA in fine arts and painting, hoping to go back and get my masters...we'll see. I was never trained in graphics and illustration, so learning comic/manga art has been a new hobby. Other than that folks...not much to tell.
