i thought it was about time we actually all got to know each other better... i mean we know a bit about Erin and Xu (i'm not saying that they should not post their own intros) but the rest of us are in the dark about each other. I'll start to break the ice and all:

how long i've been reading the comic: we decided at Otakon that it has been about 9 months or so... i don't really remember.
Favorite storyline: it's so hard to pick but i really liked the last Christmas one because of all the wonderful Rip moments.
other info: i just graduated college and am working a halfway crappy job; but at least it's a paycheck (which means i can buy stuff from Shine's store and go to Otakon agian next year). At this Otakon i had the honor of meeting Erin and some of her friends and i hope i am able to hang out with them again at future cons and what not. they were all wonderful to hang out with.

Other info: Bit of an Anglophile, and I dearly love The Three Musketeers and The Count of Monte Cristo, history (only certain eras), and a fair number of anime. Oh, and Babylon 5 and science fiction and fantasy in general.

As for particular anime...Silent Mobius, Nausicaa, and Gankutsuou are at the top of the list, but there are a lot of series I like. For those of you familiar with the series, you have one guess who my favourite Silent Mobius character is.

how long i've been reading the comic: Not too long...
Favorite storyline: Love them all, but I really like the attack of the fangirls ones, because no one else ever seems to do that. ^_^
other info: Start with the negative: Emotionally unstable, prone to mood swings, am in near constant pain, have a split personality that wants to kill people, and have mild schizophrenia (I know what's real and what's not, though) and that said personality loves to rant about how pathetic I am to me. Don't ask how, he just does. Oh, and I'm an insomniac. The good: I'm not as bad as I sound, I have a few good friends, I love manga and subbed only anime. My favorites are, in no particular order: Ranma 1/2, InuYasha, Chrono Crusade, Bleach, .Hack, Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, Card Captor Sakura, and generally anything that protrays at least one not-evil demon. I'm finally away from most of my family, who don't like and/or hate me. I'm getting better and will soon be on medication. What I love: Drawing, writing, my hair, fanfiction (especially gender swap fan fiction because they make me giggle like a school girl), video games, cargo pants and t-shirts, Erin (In a purely platonic fan sort of way), and cuddles. ^_^

Other info: Hmm well I am a longtime sci/fi fan and still recall being a little kid and getting up early in the mornings to watch those first anime shows on the TV, Marine Boy, Speed Racer, Star Blazers, Battle of the Planets and Robotech. Damn I'm old!! *cries* That aside I have only recently discovered the joy that is Hellsing and fallen madly inlove with Seras's charcter, not that Alucard, INtegra and walter do not rock, speaking on Integra I must say I prefer the Manga drawings of her as she's not drawn, well I have imagined then crew running into Austin Powers and him standing next to Alucard after being intorduced to the anime version of her and him commenting on her being rather mannish looking. Lastly one of those RPG players who enjoys running charcters of either gender just because it freaks some folks out and it amuses me endlessly

Also - the strip's three years old; it's not yet ready to be divided into "old school" and "new school". (One day people will look back and think of the Catholicon storyline as "old school". There's a trippy thought.)
