Read this first! [UPDATED]

Post by SailorPtah »

Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Shine forum!

A few ground rules:

1. When you join the forum, take a minute to say hi on the introduction thread. (Not a requirement, but nice.)

2. A new "general discussion" thread is created at the beginning of each new storyline. (Who creates them, you ask? Whoever gets to it first.) Reactions to the current strip should go in the latest storyline thread. You can make other posts on whatever other subjects you like (so long as they're related to Shine).

3. Critical reactions are allowed. Just don't try to dictate how the strip is run. So, for instance, "I think this scene was out-of-character" is cool. "How dare you write this scene, you terrible person?", not so much. (It'll only get you laughed at.)

4. Be polite. (That should be a given.)

See also the Dreamwidth community for goodies and discussion, and the Shine Shrine and its forum for general fannishness.

Enjoy your stay!

Ah, nifty. Guess this is a reason for me to get this account in order. Want help setting the place up in terms of subforums and the like?

Oh, and it's my birthday today (7/31). I'm 25, now. Biseinen status, tally ho!

Monsieur should read more carefully.

If my usual forum name had not been taken in the Comic Genesis system, the first thread here would've been along the lines of 'I claim this board in the name of France!'

Oh, and happy birthday, Xuanwu. May you pass as many more in good health.
