sorry for rambling, i collect hirano's other comics, i have almost all his hentais except for 2 pages missing from one of the magic school ones with the dude that looks like fr. renaldo in it. i even have his evangelion doujin, which is really hard to read... two words... Pimp Gendo.

not the actual hard-copies mind you, i'm a collector, not a RICH collector. last copy of coyote i saw on ebay was topping out at $130. i would LOVE having a hard-copy of any one of them, especially coyote's books though, even if just to take to a con for hirano to sign someday just to see the look on his face.

the color might have been off in my copy's scans. *shrug* when i found it, it was in four small doujin-sized vloumes, each with their own front. the first had the color of pip, the second was him and the girl, the third and fourth were max and his crew, and the merc buddies, i forget which was 3rd and 4th, but there were colored pages with the title and hirano's name on them for each.

i'd have to dig out the disks to be sure, i just backed up and moved all my manga and other important stuff off the compy before moving because i was sending it in to get fixed, and the last thing the tech dude needs to see is 40 gigs of bootleg manga and anime, sims skins, and gag pictures of my cat lost in the bookpile.

(yes, that's not just a bad ROD joke, i seriously had a bookpile before moving. now i have 11 large boxes all sorted by genre and author, and five more unsorted all sitting in storage until i make room for them. the other librarians keep teasing me i've got more books than our branch. )

eh, either way, it dosen't matter much how it came out, just that it exists, and i'm never afraid of being proven wrong, so i might have to go double-check later.

There are only 2 characters who are the Yumie and Yumiko prototypes. Natalie is the Yumiko one. That's what I meant.

If they were, say, "gold eyes flecked with purple" or some other esoteric color (and remember, we're using anime standards of esoteric), then I can see this making sense. But how many blue-eyed people are there in the world? In Hellsing alone, we have Seras, Integra, and Walter - does that mean they're all related?

Natalie's eye color isn't even specified in Coyote - that's just a part of Shine canon. And Yumiko's eyes are black (well, dark brown) in Shine canon. I'm pretty sure they're not blue in Hellsing proper, either.

If you back enough everyone in the world is related, only difference is how much. Royalty at least has the advantage to know with who they share their family tree, for example Queen Elizabeth and Dracula are related.
