He's still a prince! I wish I was a prince.

Hmmm... I was born in fall of 1987, so I would be naught but a wee bairn enjoying my first Christmas. I wish I had one of those baby jumper things now. I would sit in it while playing video games.

Well they make them for adults to use but they are expensive, not to mention slightly embarassing to buy in person. If you get them by mail order you'll never get off the mailing list and the other things they think you'd be interested in would make the Marques De Sade blush like an anime junior highschool girl.

That was a good story arch. I especially liked the last strip of the arch when Alucard is impressed by Integra's abilities in her dream.

I see it as more a combo of mostly Integra's being more then he anticipated and his own abilities in that arena not being quite what he assumed or to paraphrase a response to a similair how did they do that question "This is inside Integra's dream. If she truly wishes to she can do anything." still you got to wonder what he did over the years to ensure she never displayed affection like that again for him save for the influence of the fang girls or a few bottles of wine? :P

I love your analysis!

An important thing to keep in mind is that Integra doesn't realize Alucard is messing with her dream. She thinks the prince is just another figure in her subconscious; if she's even aware that he looks familiar (which is doubtful, as he never took a form that she would recognize), she'd just chalk it up to her mind assigning Alucard the role, the way it assigned her uncle the role of Rat King. (Did everyone catch that, by the way?)

Well I gotta admit this will be a first for me, in buying some one a llama. I've given puppies, kittens, and fish but now I can add llamas to the list. However I draw the line at badgers.

I tried to once, but got bored and never finished. And that almost never happens with me and a book.

It was a long time ago. Maybe I'll pick it up again.

My favorite character in the Wind and The Williows was Otter.

I do like ferrets. Playful, curious, cunning, and michevious. Especially when they steal anything that is not nailed down and hide in different places refered to as "stashes."

Try reading the Simarilian by JRR Tolken (spelling is suspect). When you do, be in comfortable clothing and have a bed near by.

Most of the things of Tolken that I have read have been interesting and good, but I think that that is a good cure for insomnia.

My mom suffers from insomnia but she is not interested in Tolkein. She does read books when she tries to go to bed.

The reason I asked if anyone ever read the Wind in the Willows was this:

One of the main characters in the book is a badger. His name is Badger or to be more polite Mr. Badger.

Mr. Badger was always my favorite character from Wind in the Willows. He's the one who knew what he was doing!

When my parents went to England, (six years before I was born) they visited the place where Kenneth Grahame (the author) lived by the River Thames.

My comment on the badgers was in terms of M/P Holy Grail, where they were dealing with the French at the castle.
