Latest Comic (Now 70% less one-reply-topicking)

The battle with Malbez begins. Soon. But before that, a message from Path on the merits of throwing your life away for vengeance. Gee, it sounds like he's butting in on Milliene's territory, doesn't it?

Discuss.

In the name of not starting tons of topics that each get one or two replies, I edited this thread's topic so it's just a thread for primary discussion on the most recent comic.

202 - Back in Those Days, Swears were Censored

I sense a flashback coming on.

Not a bad idea with the forum threads Germ! Hopefully it will fill out a bit more now!

So what exactly did happen with the old man character that fought the boss by himself in final fantasy 4? I've played bits of most of the final fantasies. ( I get distracted easily so i didn't finish any of them!)

And it is.

Didn't finish any of them? Tisk.

If this FF4 parody is worth its salt, it's something akin to what should happen to Path after the flashback.

About the latest comic...

Hmm. The "ThunderBall" spell was taken from the James Bond movie of the same name (love the opening song), but the other two were original. ...Or so I thought. "Glacial Dirge" is some sort of techno song and "Riot Inferno" is some sort of disco lingo, apparently. Or something.

You've started a theme going with the spells then, you should try and keep it going!

Well... Path damaged Malbez's cape, at least. Gotta count for something, right? Right?

*kicks a tumbleweed towards the net* He shoots, he scores!

Now, we must see path summon the Ultimate Spell. :)

The ultimate spell? ULTIMA!
If it takes the ultimate spell to defeat Malbez then it will take an EVEN more ultimate spell to defeat Xantrich.. path isn't going to cast Meteor is he?

It's the ultimate sage magic. There could, in theory, exist a stronger spell (and with all I have planned, who knows :P) used by a different class of magic user.

He's like Captain America or something.

Stronger spells? Madness! Path is clearly the zenith of human achievement!

I'm guessing Aracelli will probably have stronger magic than path once she gets going.. And the way Exor-Ken was talking about Fatima being a blood catalyst maybe suggests she might be on the way to big powerful spells as well..
By the way, is castle demiurge a gnostic reference?

Psh. Exor doesn't know what he's talking about. He's a filthy, untrustworthy Zeanogian bastard!

I just love how Haz can draw complicated poses for people (panel 1 of 206, Path holding himself up), yet more 'regular' poses seem a bit more unrefined. You are learning in reverse HW.

I hope Malbez catches fire next, fire is good

Hehe, yeah. I guess I put a lot more time and effort into the complicated ones. Or something. I dunno ^_^;;
