Unending predictions 2: The first oxymoron.

The place where no good punk-asses and aimless hipsters come to discuss a rather lousy comic.

The only boring story is one that involves meatloaf.

The food, or the guy? Now if it were Meatloaf eating meatloaf, then that's all I need to hear.

Fight Club was pretty boring.

Oh yeah, Meatloaf was in that. It was boring, but that first half hour was pretty cool.

I've never actually seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We played Time Warp in marching band though.

I guess on some level it's heartening that there was a time when such a thing could actually be produced, but I don't see myself watching it again any time soon.

I need to see it. It's one of those cultural things I guess.

Yeah, that's why I eventually saw it. And that short girl was really into bizarre musicals from the seventies that month.

Which short girl. Katie?

Speaking of cultural staples but not really the same topic, I need to see Jaws still. I watched Raiders of the Lost Arc and half of Temple of Doom while inking last night.

Never saw Jaws? Meh. I guess for cultural perspective, you do what you gotta do, but it's nothing special.

Rocky Horror is pretty fun. It's trashy, pop-culture referencing, over the top, and willfully horrible; basically it's a great B-movie.

If you want to see it, I'd suggest seeing it in a theater with some friends.

I was at a theater seeing, "Man in the Iron Mask." When we were leaving, people in drag with toast showed up to watch Rocky Horror. So I was like, "oh, so that's what my assistant band director was telling us."
