Oh my GOD!!

I spotted a banner for this comic from Mac Hall, which has sadly fallen on dark times in terms of updates as any of us who've done comics have no doubt also experienced. I've unsuccessfuly attempted two webcomics now

8:1 is incredible. I love all the characters, and I can't help wanting Lori to be ok, and naturally I want happiness for Mary too but they're all so good in their angst.

I love the art style and the content, and I think the plot comes along at the perfect pace (even if that is over 3 years!), and it's definitely not too angsty and emo, it's perfect

So thank you for making such an excellent comic. You've made a fan for life!

Ah yes, a groveling to Duff for making us a great comic thread. Just what I was looking for, and I didn't even have to make it myself or demand it on the demand thread. So yhea... Duff went back and finished off a lot of the details on most of the unfinished comics. Duff is too good to us, I says. I am now preparing to grovel. *sprays some of that throat spray stuff* me me me me... I'm NOT WORTHY! I'M NOT WORTHY!!!! ;p Thanks be to the artist who gives us our daily angsty wonderment.

? Err... I know I'm crazy over-the-top, but I wasn't being sarcastic. I would think Duff would like to hear compliments, even my particular brand of wacky ones. Didn't mean to scare you off. If you think I'm just trying to revoke my previous comments, just look back in the "what are you listening to right now" thread. Once Duff disapproved of my musical tastes and I offered to commit ritual disembowlment to appease him. Duff is at least a lesser diety to me. Please don't let my randomness scare you away. It makes me so sad when my randomness does that to people. And I do it so often too. *le sigh* I'm sure the board is happy to have you about, cyberkitten. I know I always like to see new 8:1 fans. If you stick around I promise to be less off-putting in the future, at least as best as I'm able.

Just glad I didn't scare you away. I think the funky way I talk and my propensity for melodrama are things that take getting used to. I doubt this is the first time I've managed something like that, come to think of it... Hmm... well to anyone on the boards that may think otherwise, I assure you that my tomfoolery is meant to be entirely light-hearted and fun.

Well I live in the UK, and that's where the monument (it's bigger than a sculpture and gets more bird poop on it) is being built, so you may just have to settle for photos
