You read for fun?!

The place where no good punk-asses and aimless hipsters come to discuss a rather lousy comic.

I'm re-reading Paul Auster's City of Glass for the third time, immediately after reading the graphic novel adaptaion again (and I've lost track of how many times I've read that). It doesn't seem to matter how many times I read it, it's always fresh and surprising. Simply put, I love this book.

I borrowed Wuthering Heights from the library at least in part to piss Sublet off.

I just made it, and you gave me a reason to use it a few minutes after its creation.

Oh yeah, Wuthering Heights fucking sucks. Still better than the Fountain Head though, I guess.

Hmm, I didn't notice that since I had to do it hastily with the window set to like 10% in the corner of my screen so no one would see what I was doing. I don't think magnifying it would be a good idea.

It was freakin hard to find this picture. All the pics of this guy did not have the right face, or was freakin' Snape.

Been reading some classics lately, like Oliver Twist, Robinson Crusoe and stuff, just because I hadn't read them yet. Then I indulged in a couple Agatha Christie books just for relaxation. Now once I've worked my way through "Don't know much about geography" (Kenneth C. Davis) I will probably read "The Time Traveler's Wife" which has been sitting on my shelf for a while.

Ooooooh, you totally have to. Time Traveller's Wife is one of my favorites. Good mix of accessiblitiy and literary heaviness (I guess). A lot of gorgeous imagery. Yes, I insist you read this now.

So I misplaced that copy of Wuthering Heights for three months. I've rediscovered it in a bag I seldom use these days, and I've jump right back into it. Good book thus far. How I do love misanthropes.

I still hate that book. The Monty Python version was better.

I dunno. I guess I could read it again.

I think this book is part of the reason I became a hateful person. I was pretty happy and easy-going for the first year and a half of high school.

Yeah, I wouldn't call this a happy read, but it's hilarious.
