For everyone not in the know, the Keenspace updater has been broken for the past week. So it's not like I've been missing updates because I've been drinking brandy and playing Metroid Prime as Beyond the Valley the Dolls plays in the background while I weep uncontrollably over the cancellation of Veronica Mars. I mean, I've been doing all of that, but it's not why you're not getting Eight to One.
Indy 500 was quite fun, despite the rain delay. The threat of bad weather made them push it a lot more in the race leading to more lead changes. Good times.
Nope, never smelled popcorn there. Smelled more like a fair with all the food vendors. And beer. Though the smell that came from the crashes stuck out the most, with the burned rubber and smoke mixture.

Oh, I'm not, but my Dad's always been a big Indy racing fan (I have many memories of him watching all kinds of those races in the summer when I was a kid.), and he'd always wanted to take me to a 500 race. Actually being there was a lot more entertaining than seeing it on television, even when I went back and watched the event on a tape the next day. I'm not hooked, but I wouldn't be opposed to going again.

Nuke.
So you're building a great buffer so you aren't missing updates for a while, right?

Totally...
I actually have a few penciled, but this part is kinda hard to write. I'm working on it.

I think Bio-diesel does that, or it smells french fries, I forget which.
Now that's pollution I can get behind.
Did you know that on certain magical days, downtown Chicago smells like chocolate? It's true.

Anyway, PA has posted one of my favorite what is one of my favorite strips in a while, and I ate what looked like a tumor with marinara and provalone. So yeah, funny day.

Somebody who is somebody, not just a nobody.
Been there. It doesn't really smell any different, but the free candy is pretty great. Everywhere has free candy. I think I wound up with a new cavity, exclusive from Hershey.
