Word Association kinda game thing!

Let's play a game. I've seen this on plenty of forums, but it's always been pretty fun, especially when all the other threads are empty or dead and you have nothing to do.
It goes like this:
The point of the game is to try to make the longest possible string of compound words, basically. For instance, as the first poster in the round, I could say "box." The next poster would say "car" making "boxcar." Then the next person has to make a new word using "car" as the first part, ie carport.
You see?
The round ends when no more words can be made, the more words you make, the more points you get. Whoever made up the last word in the round before everyone is stumped automatically loses, vis a vis the purpose of the game.
YAY!
Let's start wiiiiiithh....
Pocket

You all broke the game.
Pocketmouse is not a word. Pocketwatch would have worked.
Mouseclick, not a word.
I think I broke the explanation!

Mouseclick? Okay, I'll take that. Sorry! I didn't mean to imply that you didn't, I thought maybe I made them unclear?

I think some people here are more used to another kind of word association game, so they might've just assumed they should put up words they associated with whatever was said, without reading the explanation.

Then I didn't break the INSTRUCTIONS, I broke the TITLE.

So the object is to make compound words out of single words? Like cell in one post and then phone in the next to make cellphone. Then person after has to come up with a word with phone in it, right?

Pocket mouse is as much as word as pocket watch is. Turns out pocket mouse is 2 words, and pocketwatch isn't even in the dictionary.

I have learned a valuable lesson here today.
Starting forum games is hard.
