Ending EOC

To discuss the comic, make announcements, and have it serve as a medium for the speculation, commentary, fanart, and conversation that goes along with it.

Should I stop EOC early and go back into the main comic?

Yes. Set EOC to the side and get back to the main comic.

Ending EOC

Postby Tenma on Fri Jan 12, 2007 2:16 am

I'm thinking about setting the Side Story to the Side and getting back to the main comic, finishing EOC pages at my leisure. Just wondering if this would be too jarring for the average reader.

I'm actually pretty geeked about the turn this story has taken.

Well, I have to say this is pretty encouraging, even though only 6 people responded so far. I'll stick with it and try to ward off my own insecurities.

It's a nice little detour that lets us see the "backstory" of Nate's life. I'd like to see it run its course.

(P.S. - I'm back from the bowells of hell. Long time no see, eh?)

Hmm... Never knew I had a chair. Oh well, if it's saved, it must be free. 8-)

I've actually enjoyed the hit-man story more than the rest of the comics.

I would vote not to return to the ordinary room-mate comedy gags, that have been played out innumerable times in other webcomics.

Keep Nate / Mozley as a killer / fugitive. :)

Thanks for the perspective, Calydon. It's very interesting and a bit of a surprise to say the least, but then again I'm pretty sure you're not one of my regular readers.

Depending on how you look at it, it's not really a roommate-driven comic. TG has always been an all-encompassing view of Nate's life as a whole, and dude's gotta have a place to live. Steve and Derek are his friends, despite certain appearances to the contrary, so it makes sense to share a living space with them. They're not vastly disparate characters thrown together wackily in a roommate situation, a setup that I agree is pretty played out.

Well, as long as you keep the script fresh and interesting, funny and sexy, I'll become one of your regular readers. :)

Cheers,
C

I am quite enjoying the EOC story. It should stay. :)

Edit: Damn, I just looked at the dates. Didn't know it was such an old issue.

I kind of miss the old story arch. As this one is kind of a major jump.

It was going so well...

I definitely prefer the old story...it was way better. My vote is you should wrap this bit up pretty quick

.....

On a different subject, I'm curious about something: When will we find out why Nate thinks Tracy Winters is such a bitch? She doesn't really do anything, except her job.
