Oh snap! I totally missed this thread! Okay, it's partially because I've been busy with real life recently and haven't really *been* here, but nonetheless!
I'm interested in putting my name in the donation pool hat, and I don't have any scheduling plans yet. I still have a few days left though, right? So, I think I'll sleep on it.

Perhaps someone needs to pimp out a thread in OT. Yeah there is a sticky but most read OT over stickies.
Took the liberty of plugging it over at DD too, lots of people there semi-associated with a lot of the people around here... and a lot I would like to see...

Making a donation shortly, as per my PMs with FadingAura. I'll be bringing the overall cost for the two remaining folks way down, so it's up to you guys to make sure they get there!!

I'm seeing 17 people on the list as of today. I think Aggie put in reservations for 20. Come on guys, this isn't the time to say 'maybe'.

Re: The Official Comic Cookout Six: Nashvegas! (2009) Thread
I just checked the donation fund this morning. o_o
I'd be a "definitely yes" right now except that I don't have any of my other summer plans lined out yet. It's pretty frustrating. I don't even know where I'll be this summer! Chances are I'll be here, but I'm applying for at least one internship in Florida, so there's an outside chance I could be there. >_< Ugh.
Anyways, I'll try to give important people a heads up as I figure stuff out.

We now have 1600.00 in the donation fund!!!
Tomorrow I'll start working with Aura to get some of these flights settled and paid for. We need to start booking as soon as possible so we can get the cheapest flights.

$1600 is a new donation fund record, by the way.

Ugh. That makes me feel even worse about not having my plans set up enough to buy tickets.
I'm sorry, cookout people. Next time I'll make sure I know where I'll be over the summer *before* putting myself on the list. >_<

This week we've been able to buy three people's tickets and today I'm going to pay for them a shared hotel room. We have a little left over if there is anyone else who would like to get on the list and can commit to coming. Once these tickets are purchased, you gotta use em' !

Still upset that I wasn't the person who gave $1000. Next year...my pretties. And hopefully by then it'll all be tax deductible!

Re: The Official Comic Cookout Six: Nashvegas! (2009) Thread
The Kolter family might have to throw their hat into the donation pool ring. Beth's still jobless in this market and we're eating through our savings. What we have left may have to go to getting Flint to a no-kill, no-cage shelter in South Carolina, if they take him.
If so, we'd be driving, which would limit the cost. But we'd need a hotel room. I'm not sure that rooming with anyone would be a good idea given we're bringing the baby.

Actually I haven't sorted out my rooming situation yet, even less having had the time to give it much thought, but I think with my experience I could live with a baby being around... especially when I know I can turn over to the other side and sleep on, knowing its for once is somebody elses problem...Rkolter wrote:But we'd need a hotel room. Just an option

Okay, I'm registered for sure... someone check to see if I double-reg'ed and double-paid. Memory's a mess as of late.
Oh, and this time, no tail. Sorry, folks, airlines are charging a ton of fees.
Edit: 2008 Photos I have!

We may have a little left in the donation pool Ryan and Beth. I'll let you know when I look at it again. So far it's paid for Dotty, SilentB and Lia to attend, plus a hotel room for the three of them.
I'm probably going to be 500+ in the hole on this one. Won't be volunteering for next year because Reinder and I are planning a wedding. If anyone is interested in volunteering for next year, you might want to start planning now or discussing it.

Looked it up, you do not appear to be double paid etc. You can also confirm this info through your paypal.

Wanna repeat this from the website:
Important Dates
Registration fee refund: May 1, 2009
Hotel Reservation (for discounted rate): May 1, 2009
Registration with website: May 17, 2009
Registration fee (must be recieved by): May 17, 2009
These last two *MIGHT* get extended. Luckily, Neely's BBQ is awesome so if we have to call later for catering than May 18th, no problem.
