The 2008 St.L. Cookout RPG Thread

I'm setting up the thread. Write in game, player range, and a bit of a description of said game.

And after last year, I'm not setting up a game. Any questions as to why will be printed out and hung on my refrigerator.

Okay, would have posted this way earlier, but I had to take some time to refamiliarize myself with the rules since I'd only read through them once before . . .

GameMaster: Jim North
Game: Shadowrun 4E
Max Players: 5
Suggested Archetypes: One or two fighters, a hacker, a magician, a rigger, and optional support (jack of all trades type, like a bard in D&D)

Really a shame since I actually had a game ready to go, and I haven't gotten a chance to RP since . . . well, since the last cookout, actually.

I used to be a distributor of M:tG and was one of the first people to run an official sanctioned tournament. Then Wizards of the Coast decided to drill new orifices into all of its small time dealers with the Fallen Empire series, so that it could rape us with more than the normal number of orifices.

After that I've always believed the only good Wizards of the Coast employee is one that is collapsed on the ground holding onto their guts for dear life while they dehydrate from explosive diahrea.

But you know, whatever.

It's designed for middle-school students and has to do with climate change.

I'd love to see that, but I'm not coming to the cookout. Any way to remedy this?

It's also being developed as a computer game, but I'm not entirely sure if I would have the rights to distribute it. I can find out, though.

I just don't see there being time for a game to be prepped before the cookout. If someone wants to try to do it, the more power to them!

There are however, many fun and entertaining card games like Fluxx...
