Hey New England people! My husband and son are going to Florida to visit relatives the weekend of May 26, which, coincidentally, may also coincide with Mort coming to Rhode Island for a few days, as he does occassionally. So we're thinking of having a get-together. Anyone interested?

edit: Now, I know it's still a bit early, and nobody really knows what their schedule is yet, but generally speaking, which day would be better for you guys, Friday, or Saturday? I'm leaning more toward Saturday, myself, but I'm flexible.

Yeah, why don't we say Saturday for now? That way we know we can spend most of the day together.

I'm forgetting that May 25 has a few good movies coming out. If I recall, Pirates 3, Potter 5, and Paprika (anime) are set to hit the theaters that day. If we wanted to, we could go as a group.

I've promised my Potter virginity to a friend of mine, but I'd be willing to see either of the others. Actually, Paprika would probably be the most fun, because the last Pirates movie kinda bit...

Edit: Potter doesn't come out until July, actually. I still vote Paprika... Especially since I saw the trailer for the first time the other night.

Are we comfortable with this little group of ours, so far? Seven or eight is already a fairly sizeable group, especially if we're going to the zoo and movies.

Or would we like to try and get as many New England comic people to show up as we can? I'm thinking of three to five more names to try for CG people. Plus, if we wanted it really huge, we could post a bulletin on ComicSpace or something. But by then it'll get to be a little big for extra activities.

Just some thoughts...what do you think?

Let's keep it to CG people. Some of us are socially awkward, and it's hard enough for us to hang around with a large group of people we already know, let alone people we don't.

That said, if there are any other CG people who want to attend, they're more than welcome to, they just need to let me know.

If the group gets much larger, we'll deal with it accordingly. If not, then there's nothing to worry about.
