okay, looking at these various passes there seem to be different deluxe passes and the like, one for SFX one for anime, one for horror, which one exactly am i picking here? I'm confused.

I am not sure, but I cannot find the Anime Expo Deluxe, just the All Access one.

There is only one Deluxe.
They put it in each section so that you can see what tickets will get you into that particular part ofthe con.

Deluxe looks like the way to go, unless we're going to limit our con attendance. Either way, I'm coming to hang out with all of you, con stuff is secondary and I lack things to shamelessly self promote my comic.

ah.... I had a chess match, a world sf con AND a couple bands to see in TO back in '74... (one of my TO trips from ottawa)

never made it to any of 'em.

did get thrown out of quite a few bars, thou. Ontario place, as I recall.
and a few places on young street?

sounds like fun, but my liver would complain WAY too much now.

TO comic-con. ack... think i sent a sf zine that way once. still get mail from 'em. turned into wasted effort, so remembered PAIN keeps me away.

there have been a couple publications done there promoting local artists... Local being 'dave sim of cerebrus' etc.

My tix cost too much, boo! I haven't bought tickets for the actual con yet. So I'm probably going to be standing in line. The only con I ever pre-regged for was A-kon, and I spent as much time in that line as I did when I didn't pre-reg for the other cons I've been to... no wait, Anime Evolution (Vancouver), I stood in line for probably a half hour.

Make sure to take a pen, pencil and a sharpie. The one thing that consistantly happens is you have to sign for something, and if you don't have a pen, you have to wait for someone to find one.

I was wondering what we are all going to do at the convention.

Do we want to spend the entire time at the convention, or do we want to do anything else?

I saw how the people who met up in the UK went to a theme park. There is a very large theme park in Toronto http://www3.paramountparks.com/canadasw ... /index.cfm
If anyone is interested in that. And/Or there is the Playdium which isn't very far from the airport http://www.playdium.com/

That's about as much as I know about Toronto.
