The St. Louis Cookout Drink Thread

Postby Ekolter on Wed May 24, 2006 7:15 pm

Head to the store tonight to buy soda and realized we don't know what you all like. So we postponed the purchases until next week.

So what is your drink of choice?

Anything diet. I avoid all sorts of sugars now. I'm actually quite preferential to Canada Dry gingerale.

Coca Cola Classic ftw.

Er, just about any fruit drink is good too. I guess.

I'm a pretty big water fan. But coke is pretty cool too.

Oh man. Most everything is good. Soda, Iced Tea, Kool-Aid, Lemonade, I'll drink it all! The only things I can think of that I have a particular dislike for are Mug Root Beer and Sierra Mist. 7-Up is okay though :D

Water! Or Seltzer! Or yeah, the Arizona Green Tea is good, too.

But if we're going with soda, I like almost everything. Except Cream soda. That's icky. Drinkable, but icky.

I don't think cream soda is even drinkable. :ick:

But yeah, anyway, most any popular major brand/variety of soda works for me.

Also, does diet work or non diet only for all of you.

I want you to buy both diet and regular, and then mix them to my satisfaction.

Non-diet is better, but diet is drinkable.

Cold water, most fizzy stuff and pineapple juice if it's not sweet. Unless you know the brands, that's just a matter of trial and error, alas.

So, just put a bottle of water in the fridge. I'll steal fizzy stuff from other people.

I don't like diet myself, but understand that it's for the people with diabetes. If it's between diet soda and something else, I'd take something else, like juice.

Tap water is fine with me. I can't have anything with carbonation or caffeine.

I'm addicted to Diet Coke. Heck, I'll probably be dragging a couple bottles with me to the cookout.
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."

I'm particularly fond of Barcs Root Beer. You know, the one with bite. But what ever is fine. Like I've said before. I'm easy to please.

It's bite is worse than it's Barc, I guess.

A&W and Barq's are both good. But Mug sucks. Sucks hard.
