I'll be there, in all my uninteresting glory! So, is anyone else out there aside from the two of us going to make the pilgrimage to Dallas and join in the 17th annual A-Kon?

I know game forum regular Uncle Milo will be there, mostly because he's my roommate. The pilgimage for us ain't so much, though, as we're practically Dalasites oursevles.

The downside is that it's the weekend after the cookout, I doubt we'll have much more than locals here.

Yeah, the drive over from Texarkana really isn't much for my friends and I either.

Will you be in any of the contests or events by chance?

(And they should just host the cookout in Dallas so we don't have to leave. )

I don't have any set plans for what to do at A-Kon... I typically hob-nob. You should be able to find me at any of the VA panels Jonathan Osborne is at (unclemilo) but other than that I hob-nob. You?

Also, anyone else going this weekend? Should be fuu-uunnn.

I'll likely be a complete whore and spend most of my time buying things, browsing, watching the cosplay and skits. We plan on doing the scavenger hunt and I have to go around and see Red Vs. Blue and Chewie!

And of course I plan on going to see Rocky Horror on Midnight Madness.. maybe do some Battletech, though likely won't have time.
