Okay, it's been brought up in chat, so I'm throwing it out here to get a general concensus. What would you guys think of my bringing my Gamecube to the cookout? I have four controllers, but Smash Bros Melee is the only multiplayer game I have. I'd love to play some Smash Bros against you guys, but I don't want to bring it unless I can be sure there's some interest in it. Also, it'd be nice if we could get some other multiplayer games in there, like Mario Party or something.

I would love to play Smash Brothers! And if it's at all possible, We'd bring Mario Party (that depends on whether or not our friend James lets us bring it, though). Etierh way, I say bring it! And I'll try to get some more games in order, but if no-one lets us borrow them, then hopefully someone else could bring them!

Someone (I don't remember who) brought a GC to the last cookout, and those few of us who played had a blast. I fully endorse one being brought this year, too.

In fact, since there's going to be many more people attending this year, I'd suggest we have two GCs (or other systems) if possible so more people can play at once and/or folks who don't want to play the same game as other folks can switch over to something else.

To those ends, Kat and I could bring up our PS2 and a small selection of multiplayer games. We don't have a multitap, unfortunately, but 2-player is better than nothin', neh?

Whomever gets the golden gun obviously can only use it...however everyone else must crouch and only use hand to hand!

Hilarity ensues :p

My twin sister that couldn't stand the pressure of two men floating towards her arms at the ready freaked out and laid us to waste with her AK...she was disqualified...but then she shot us some more so we took it back.

I always lose my temper playing Goldeneye, (or most FPSs for that matter) But I can bring an N64 controller or two if you bring the console. After all, if I bring the Cube, it's not that much more to pack.

I'm not all that good but it's a fucking awesome game.

If people are bringing PS2s I may be able to scrounge up a game or two to bring along - I doubt I'll be able to get away with stealing my brother's controllers but I'll try it.

Hmm, that's a good question. I kind of figured we'd play one of the other nights. Either way, I can't bring a TV, cause there's no way I'm lugging one from Oregon to St. Louis :-?

nah... I think I got some multiplayer games on gamecube. I know I don't have that many GC games however I'll have to look.
