Really? Man, you're in for a load of fun.

If I might offer a teeny bit of advice... Take some cornfakes on the plane. Couple of those individual packets. Even if you're not sick, there's every chance your stomach will be too delicate for proper food and something plain like cornflakes is perfect.

I figure I'll maybe try and stay up all night from Thursday to Friday, that way I might sleep through most of the flight and maybe that'll make it better... or worse.... one of the two...

There are also anti-air sickness tablets that make you drowsy. They're useful.

Though I doubt I'll wear the pimp coat. It'll be June, and a lot farther south than I'm used to being. I r hate the heat, so expect me to run hissing from the sun when I arrive - I'll probably be wearing my Canada hat.

I've had problems with my identity being known on the net. And so I've tried very hard to keep my real name and my picture a secret.

This isn't a problem for what you need, Mrs. K -- I can PM you a link to a picture of me. But I'm nervous about the aftermath of the cookout. You're a community of artists, I can't (and won't) tell you not to take, draw, or post pictures of me.

I think I may have to amend some of my personal rules very soon. I hope the sacrifice is worth it.
