Two month update!
*Edit* Honestly, I don't know who is in the pot now. Sincerely has came up with funds of her own. PM my other half to double check who's still in. Doing mini-updates for him with only the information I have via forums.

Okay, I'm an idiot. I misunderstood how amtrack's website worked, and the tickets were considerably more expensive than I thought, $400 for a roundtrip ticket. I looked at some other alternatives, and the cheapest plane tickets I found were $319 on Priceline, but they probably won't stay that price for long. The cheapest alternative I've found (if I didn't screw up again) is to take a Greyhound bus there, which is $230. I feel really stupid about this thing, but here's what I've come up with so far:
Expedia: $320 leaving 31st or 1st
Orbitz: $343 on the 31st or leave the first, arrive at midnight for $322
Travelocity: $320
Priceline: $319
Train ticket from amtrack.com: $400
Greyhound ticket: $230

We now have $185 for Rock, we need to raise a minimum of 45 more, if not 150 or so more. If you want rock to come, please donate!

That leaves us with roughly $35 to raise. If you can please donate, even if it's a few bucks, every little bit helps.

Rock Dash's ticket has been purchased.
That leaves $60 in the account and $40 pending to enter the account. Total of $100.
We don't have enough time to buy anyone else a ticket, nor enough funds to do so. By the rules of the donation pool, this money will be donated to the Red Cross in the name of the 2006 ComicGenesis Cookout.

Update:
We are waiting on one payment to clear before contacting the Red Cross.
I've been asked about taking money from this fund for either helping people with gas, or renting a car, or renting a hotel. I've also been asked about simply taking the money and using it for cookout related needs.
Hoenstly it wouldn't be fair. People have donated over the last months to get people here, without knowing for sure if enough money would be raised. To take the remaining funds for any other use (even offsetting the cost of the cookout) just wouldn't be right.
It's one of those "the right thing and the easy thing aren't the same thing" kind of situations.
The money will be donated and confirmation displayed proudly here.
