it can literally be done in 15 minutes, so there's no real need to do it ahead of time.

But you don't want me playing, since I've never played before and my only knowledge of the game is from that movie they made and that it involves dice. Also, presumably, some dungeons and possibly dragons. Unless I *really* don't know what you're talking about.

I will, however, spectate.

Sounds like a good time to learn. Seriously, a newb doesn't tend to slow things down much. You can pick it up as you go without problems.

if I'm not able to go again next year, I will DEFINITELY be suggesting a long-distance DM for a 2nd edition D&D session. Image

That way, you know... I couldn't be bribed with pizza and what typically goes along with D&D sessions. :P

You rend the flesh of your chest wall and pull a rib out of your ribcage, and successfully tie the string to each end of the bloody, slippery bone. You rip your left femur out, discard the nub of a kneecap that came with it, and using sand as grit, sand the bone down to an arrow shape.

You then fire the bone arrow at your foot, causing 1d4 damage.
