I think it's pretty much official now that Ladydarke will not be at the cookout. I also have Brockway and Dave Against the Machine's shirts printed.

Ok. So, I got a hotel room spoken for, confirmation number and all. Turns out, I will be driveing up. I'll be leaving early friday, and get ther late friday. So I could help out with, geting people from the hotel to the event, saturday morning. But not many. Just can get a couple, if willing to squeeze. Only got a truck. Unless people wanna pile up in the bed of the truck, but not if you value your life.

REMINDER

Friday is your deadline for telling us if you are coming to the cookout or not, so that we can begin planning food and other preparations.

I believe(???) all our maybes are currently covered.

Please try to be very secure in your status one way or another by Friday.

Will we accept changes thereafter... I suppose. We won't be happy about it though because we'll be knee deep in plans when you throw in your new information.

So anyway, it's only a couple weeks away - you should know if you're coming or not, how you're coming, where you're staying, what you're bringing, etcetera - if you do not, then you need to, now now now now now.

If anyone has an idea of something I can send to the cookout in my stead (perhaps a DVD of the movie I was in recently?), let me know.

Actually, from saving the money I would have spent on a hotel in St. Louis, I MAY be able to make it to CN Expo... But that is a big maybe.

Gah, I'd hate to think of what condition a RENTED bubble would be in. Do they disinfect those?

Also, as far as I know Ian hasn't bought the tickets yet, so this should prove no hassle for him.

i still think she'll get over the mono before the cookout, and what we'd want to do is pump her full of antibiotics to battle secondary infections.

I may be over the worst of it by the cookout, but fatigue from mono tends to last a while after (so I hear). Not to mention, I would still b e contagious... Not that I plan to go around kissing people or anything, but you never know

And I really don't want to gamble Ian's money, on the off-chance that I don't recover by the time of the cookout. Not to mention going on a plan will probably be the last thing I want to do after getting over a sickness.
