At about 1:20 PM today I closed my eyes for a couple minutes while walking (I followed the sound of the girl in front of me) and somehow I wandered from the awesome universe in the alternate crappy universe.

Tomorrow I'm hoping to find the dimensional rift I walked through and get back to the good universe.

It'll be tricky 'though, because, like I said, I had my eyes closed at the time.

Just finished the work on Land Nav prep for Thursday. I took 32 points (little orange/white nylon parachute box thingies) and assigned them to the mapped out points. Then I cross referenced them all to the answer sheet. This required the A and C sectors to double as the E and F sectors in case of a change in area of operations. Except 1 C point doesn't get doubled over into F. So WTF.

Anyways, that's all completed. Now I just need to get some freaking research done for my paper. Oh wait, I've got to be up in like 4 hours. Again. Looks like things are getting shoved back to Friday. Cause I need to go through GradFest tomorrow before going to class. And I may have to double check on if one of my classes got cancelled. God I hope it did. Yeah, time to stop rambling and go sleep.

And I missed my dinner. I had a spoonful of Peanut Butter and that should tide me until 5AM whereupon I shall consume bagels. And maybe some milk.

Don't be fooled; the mildness doesn't do anything to change the shitty taste. We have more Starbucks outlets on campus than Timmy's ones.

Oh I haven't been. Although due to a mix-up and someone's tardiness (not mine, this time) I ended up buying the swill. Oh well, it was kind of a nice Starbucks and I've wanted an excuse to hang out there for a while.

Oh, yes, some of them do have comfortable chairs and a nice atmosphere, and I enjoy some of their outrageously expensive specialty drinks (when someone else is buying) -- it's just that the major selling point of a coffee shop for me is, you know, the coffee, and theirs is just gawd-awful.

Found out while heading back from lunch, I had a flat tire. Tear in tire itself come to find out. As of tomorrow evening, I'll be the proud owner of 4 new Yokohama (sp?) tires for a $400. Thank goodness for tire sales and being due for new tires anyway!
