my videos suck big time because im not pretty.

as i'm about to get married i can't exactly comment on this extensively, so i call on all of the single men. someone, please, set her straight.

Eve, we have a wonderful collection of stories about a town called Schildburg. The inhabitants were so intelligent and wise, that everyone from near and far would come and ask them for advice. The Schildburgers got so tired of this that they began to pretend they were stupid and foolish, and it worked: No one bothered them anymore. Unfortunately for them, it worked too well, and they actually became stupid.

So the moral of that story is: If you keep saying to yourself that you are something you're not (in this case ugly), someday you'll believe it so much it becomes true.

The thing is... those people liked being stupid, rather than smart, so they remained stupid.
I don't know if anyone liked being ugly, or got tired of being pretty, though.

Had the best day yesterday that I've had in months, and for once I'm actually feeling good again! Got to see a play (Man, it was horrible!), visit my parents, clear the air with a friend that I hadn't talked to in months, and played some more SSBB!

You are pretty. I will say that again, just in case you didn't hear it the first time. YOU. ARE. PRETTY.

I used to think I was ugly, had this horrible long freakish neck, weird disgusting smile, and was overall not a pretty thing to look at. I have since changed my mind. What's changed between then and now? My perception. Yes, I've worked out and packed on 20 pounds of muscle. But that came AFTER my perception of myself changed and is what got me to start working out (that and ROTC).

First you think to yourself, "You know what, I'm awesome." That gives you self confidence and it changes a lot about you. How you act, walk, talk, carry yourself. And just changing that simple mind set can make you look more attractive, and then you look at yourself in the mirror and see the change and go "Well damn, I AM awesome stuff" and start believing your own hype because-IT IS TRUE.

We all have flaws, but that's never what you should focus on. Stick to what your positive attributes are and work to enhance those. The negatives will start to take care of themselves in the process.

spent all weekend moving things
still have the bare furniture in this room to move (and my computer)... basically just a couple ikea bookshelves, another shelf set, a vanity, and a small file cabinet.
and my computer


and we won't have internet for the first little while... phone/internet package is first on our list of "THINGS WE NEED OMG" because without a phone we can't buzz people into the building (pain in the ass, but whatever). that and i need internet to live.
man i can't wait until i'm officially done with this grocery store... it'll be nice to move up and live more permanently in our apartment.

Jamba Juice was giving away their new breakfast stuff this morning. It wasn't bad. But now that's over.

Starbucks is doing the same for their new mild roast coffee at noon ET, for like a half hour. I don't like Starbucks but free is free.
