Same.

I was surprised that many of the people I was with at the time were the same way. I mean, here's a guy who's practically a living legend in Boston and he arrives to a room full of indifference.

I actually wouldn't have commented if we weren't called heathens for not knowing the name of a guy that was highly paid to play with his balls in a crowded stadium with other men in tight pants.

Well, he said we were heathens for not knowing who he is, which was a joke. So I responded in a cheeky manner.

I'm sorry if anyone was really offended that I called them a heathen. It's just this is the first time I got to meet a celebrity and I was excited. However, he's a sports celebrity, and for whatever reason sports takes a backseat around here.

This really happened! I have proof!

I'm a heathen! ^_^

*dances about naked and covered in goat's blood*

Coincidentally, Heathen is the name of a David Bowie album and I forgot my meds today!

I came in REALLY under budget this month, so this morning, I set out with one aim.

I will own a DS.

So I went to the local 2nd hand shop.... nothing
GAME - Nothing
Woolworth's - Nothing

I visited, I counted 14 stores. Everyone sold out, or only had pink ones

I kept walking, and walking.

The mall, nothing

NO WHERE HAD SHIT.

I kept walking. I walked for 10 miles, walked into a shop, and asked "You got a DS"
"145 pound"
"..... wait.... You actually have one in stock!?"

Actually ended up in a discussion about how that DSes have gotten rare in Brighton. Especially the silver. Which I snagged.

I am a HAPPY child right now.

But next time I'll keep track of how far I've walked...

And if you're THAT desperate for a DS, why not settle for a pink one? Are you not comfortable with your masculinity?

Because I woke up with a MISSION.
Selling myself short would have felt like quitting <_<;
But like I said, I was just walking asking from store to store XD I only know how far I went because I googled it out of curiosity

And yes, I have Phantom Hourglass and Animal Crossing.

Animal Crossing will EAT YOUR SOUL.

But Phantom Hourglass will enrich it.

I got hooked, LONG ago, on a friend's system. Everytime I went to visit him I had to root out the damn thing and check on everyone.

I managed to fill my car to the brim with those plastic magazine holder thingys. A company was downsizing their library, hence giving them away for free. Ryan's science needs have been met. :D Seriously the dude has like a subscription to every science magazine out there!

That's one of those games where you have to constantly run around and do chores for people, right? Like talk to a specific person or find a specific dohickey or go fishing?

And that other game has talking animals?
