actually drive-ins have been around since 1933 :x

and those were more specifically from the mid-late 50s

Never said there wasn't drive ins back then, my father was born in 1939 and told me the first time he ever saw those cartoons and it was around 1954.

by congress, yes, but by wikipedia? if it's not significant by their standards, it's not significant.

Seems wikipedia considers it significant, as well:

But we could propose it for deletion there, on grounds of non-notability. That would certainly end in a heated discussion of whether the opinon of Congress has any binding importance for wikipedia. :lol:

EDIT: Somehow, the apostrophe in the page title causes a problem with creating a link. Use copy/paste if interested.
