THE OPENING BATTLE!
I won't always do them this quick (or with side commentary), but I wanted to give y'all a chance to see what's up.
Nanda (Physical) vs. Kisai (Mental)
* Kisai is against a physical opponent and is weak against physical.
Turn 1 - Nanda gets initiative
Nanda whallops Kisai upside the head with a baseball bat (14 damage). Kisai sees stars... which apparently confuse her as she misses Nanda.
Turn 2 - Nanda gets Initiative
Nanda follows up with a rock to the face (11 damage). Kisai falls down, and Nanda laughs. While Nanda isn't looking, Kisai levitates the rock, and smashes it into Nanda's leg (11 damage).
Turn 3 - Kisai gets Initiative
Kisai tries to channel elevator music into Nanda's skull, but has a horrible rock-induced headache and fails. Nanda knees Kisai in the belly (14 damage) and Kisai is down for the count.
Winner: Nanda! Nanda glows, is healed, and gains an attribute point.
Loser: Kisai! A medical ogre wrings out a unicorn over Kisai, who immediately recovers.
::edit:: I should add, now and in the future, if anyone wants to draw a combat, you are welcome to change the actions, but not the damage or outcome. I just put in actions I think are good at the time, and they may not fit well with what you want to draw.

Combat #2, Round 1: GrabmyGoblin vs. Aeridus
GrabMyGoblin is a physical attacker, while Aeridus uses Magic; neither is weak against the other.
Turn 1 - GrabmyGoblin gets initiative.
Goblin grins, disappears, reappears over Aeridus' head, pokes him in the shoulder (6 points), and then flits away.
Aeridus yelps in pain and screws up his summoning.
Turn 2 - Grab My Goblin gets initiative.
Goblin again disappears, reappearing behind Aeridus, and pokes him again with her dagger (8 damage). Before Goblin can get away, Aeridus summons a large chicken, that falls from great height and smacks Goblin in the head (9 damage)
Turn 3 - GmG gets initiative.
Goblin shakes off the chicken and takes to the air, just being missed by a large slimy tentacle that erupts from the chicken with a B-KAWK!
Turn 4 - Gmg gets initiative.
Goblin takes a bank too hard while trying to come around after Aeridus and hits a wall! Aeridus takes advantage of the situation and summons a horde of tiny octopi, which fall on GMG and cover Goblin with multitudes of tiny bites (12 damage). When the octopi move away, Goblin is DOWN.
Winner: Aeridus! He glows, is healed, and gains an attribute point.
Loser: GrabMyGoblin. An Ogre nurse picks up Goblin, cracks her like a wet towel, and all the damage vanishes.
