Thanks! And if you ever really are interested, pm me and we'll talk it over. :D

Wouldn't shipping alone be hecka expensive? Cause I'd love it on canvas, not just poster print, y'know.

Anyway, once I get a new job and am done with moving and that, I'll get back to you. I am very much interested. :D

All I do is canvas, so no problem there. Yeah, shipping will probably cost a limb or two. :wink: Just let me know when you're feeling ready, and we'll do business.

I had an idea to do a 1-2 panel political comic strip in my spare time. Because I have things to say. Political things. Things that need bad words inserted every other line.

I am Calvin on crack.

Since Fatima 6:10 kinda fell through (Lack of people interested in helping me with it) I figured I'd do this, which would be even more inflammatory with no holds barred against every race, religion, and country in the world. I was thinking of calling it "Bombs Over Baghdad" after that Outkast song.

"Fuck whitey" would be an appropriate way to describe my feelings.

I don't like America, Israel, Republicans, Islamic fundamental extremists, bible thumpers, Greenpeace, "free" trade, big business, wiggers, Britney Spears and the 8 year olds that dress skanky like her, Scientology, braindead babyblasting sluts that use the words "my baby's daddy", pro-lifers, abortionists, vegetarians, hunters, rainbow-farters, homophobes, commercialism, the justice system, political correctness, bureaucracy, the Western nations in general, white people in general, furries who use "furry words", Scott Kurtz, people who make obvious spelling errors, anyone who disagrees with me, and everyone on the planet including me.

I am, however, pro-Canada and pro-free speech.

Edit: PS - If you're silly enough to take things I say literally ILL STAB U IN THE FAIC!!12

I remember Kisai mentioning something about how Canadians like to say that they have freedom of speech, but in actuality there is no constituional law in Canada that provides freedom of speech. The government simply doesn't get as anal about it as other countries, but as far as I was told, in Canada you do not have a right to free speech on a purely technical level.

I'm pretty sure there's something to the effect of freedom of speech.

I don't feel like looking up the constitution at this time of night, though.

Part one of the Canadian Bill of Rights states...
1. It is hereby recognized and declared that in Canada there have existed and shall continue to exist without discrimination by reason of race, national origin, colour, religion or sex, the following human rights and fundamental freedoms, namely,

(a) the right of the individual to life, liberty, security of the person and enjoyment of property, and the right not to be deprived thereof except by due process of law;

(b) the right of the individual to equality before the law and the protection of the law;

(c) freedom of religion;

(d) freedom of speech;

(e) freedom of assembly and association; and

(f) freedom of the press.

Anyway; I have a more finished look for "Lil' Van", which I kinda nicknamed "Le Petit Diable" (The Little Devil)

Our charter of rights has Free Speech in it, but up here we have something called "the Notwithstanding clause" which allows governments in some cases to make laws that are against the charter. Basically they can overide it in extreme circumstances.

It's rarely (basically never) used though...and it's actually a good thing. Having a bill or charter of rights that can't be over-ridden sounds like a great thing, but in practice it causes a lot of problems and you get situations like the US not being able to craft any decent gun control policy because the bill or rights garauntees guns for all, or any depraved ridiculous thing you can think of being justified in a name of self-expression or the pursuit of happiness.

While you could twist it to mean that Canada doesn't have true freedom of speech, what it really means is that our actual elected officials are the ultimate power in Canada, not an un-democratically appointed Supreme Court.

Oh good, I'm running low on right legs, so maybe we can come to some kind of agreement.
