Hey, if I was asked, I'd let you into our club too. Unfortunately, they won't let us Serbs into any club either since 1993.

I've been away for 3 days so i'm catching up now...
Of all the logos i've seen, Joel's atom looking CG is the best: i really really love it.

Why Any of Them?

Postby Dominic on Mon Jun 06, 2005 8:45 am

I don't care for any of the alternatives offered to date. I'd just like to go on record as recommending something shorter and easier for people to remember. As it is, if I give my website address to anyone in the real world, they quickly forget it because there's too many syllables. I know you need brand identification, but how about something simple like kspace.com, or comicks.com? I could try to get people to remember http://simonpariah.comicgenesis.com, but I doubt it will happen; it's just too 90's.
Just a thought.

I think Comic Genesis sounds cool...If it were left up to me, I'd pick something shorter, but Comic Genesis sounds way better then the other name, in my opinion. :D

Actually i think comicgenesis.com is easyer to remember than comicks.com, 'cause the name is just two words known to everyone (genesis my not be an everyday word, but hey, yu'll know what it means). With comicks.com you'll have people not remember if the K was before the S or viceversa... of messing up 'cause they think it's comik-S and not comic-KS.
The only problem with comicgenesis.com is that, being a long name, it's easy to mispell it when you type, but it's not an hard-to-remember name at all.

I am in full support of renaming KeenSpace to Comic Genesis, and using Joel's logo.

I'd have to say, as a graphic designer, that Joel's logo is fantastic.

Or for 8 bucks you could buy simonpariah.com and have it point to your comic.

For me, remembering simonpariah.com is still difficult.
Being ESL and all. A name contains daily used words is easier for me.

Joel's logo definately has my vote, out of what I've seen (okay, so I skipped 8 pages. Shoot me.) The middle one is the best, perhaps just because it's in the middle, but I prefer it nonetheless.
Warning: This poster regularly makes unintentionally sexual posts. Or at least "unintentional" is what she claims...

Very true. "Pariah" is probably what I'd go for. It's a real word and even if it's not commonly known, it's still only one word, which is also easier to remember.

Kirb immortalized it in the Space Tan thread.

*shoves incriminating evidence under the rug* So... any word on this poll yet?

In other news, both versions of comicgenesis now point to keenspace.

And just so I can find it, stickied.

Oh, Joel? Is it possible to get high-rez versions of those? I'll take Photoshop, Gimp XCF, and PNG's, please.
