I don't care if you use the flat one OR the glowing one. Both kick utmost amounts of ass.

But not teaching your students to realize their full potential so you don't have competition? For shame. :p
Caught in the headlamp glare of your own blinding vanity/Mesmerised by the stare of your shallow personality
Gorging the junk food of flattery you drag your fat ego around/Everyone floored by the battering you give to whoever's around
Oh Narcissus you petulant child admiring yourself in the curve of my eyes/Oh Narcissus you angel beguiled unsated by self you do nothing but die

It's worse than that. When I lecture them, I spend most of my time insulting Microsoft.

And I've warned all my students that the final exams will have questions on the new season of Doctor Who, too. No good putting these people in the workforce if they don't demonstrate some basic level of good taste.

You can never have enough glowing. Juist look at all the games at E3 this year.

I've never ever seen a single episode of Doctor Who. *ducks rotten vegetable flinging*

Edit: Holy crap, is that website half in Welsh? <ignorant American>I had no idea people still spoke that. </american>

That said, I do adore the atomic CG. I think it's a good replacement for the K Star--it's something that's part of a larger name, but that we can use elsewhere by itself to mean the same thing.

No, it just that the current story that was just shown in England was set in Wales. They change the website every week. The last two weeks, it was a World War II poster.

And you really, really need to try it. It won it's timeslot in Australia against the football. This is like winning against the soccer in England or baseball/gridiron in America.

'Won the timeslot in England, too, but that was against some show I'd never heard of. Meant to be popular, though. Everyone was surprised when Doctor Who blitzed it.*

- Joel Fagin

* World War II pun unintended.

You expect us to believe that?

Maybe I'll see if I can find it at a videostore or something. Looked at the website, didn't have the right media player, couldn't open the trailers, but regardless it look interesting.

If you're in America, you'll probably not find it and it'll probably be ages before it reaches you, too - if at all.

However, you'll at least need to wait until the first season has finished in England. Another two weeks, I think. The DVD will be out right afterwards in an attempt to cut down on people downloading them.

Actually, Joel's is a pretty good take at the planet/atom logo. It's works fairly well in two colours too.

Hadn't really thought about the similarity, but you're right. I got there by a very cicuitous route, mind. Went through an oval swirly thing, stars, suns and an actual atom with an actual nucleus.

(The sun was blue for some reason, though... Why the hell did I have a blue sun? Ah, well.)

Anyway, sorry about that. I didn't mean to plagerise but it'd be impossible for me not to think it wasn't sitting in the back of my mind somewhere.

As far as I am concerned, Tom Baker will always be the only real Doctor Who.
Someday, someday I'll finish Confabulation. That day is not today, however.

Okay people. Stop distracting Joel.
We're supposed to be reminding him how great that logo is, not rabitting on and on about the Doctor.
Sheesh! Honestly Joel, is it possible for you to stay focused on one subject without dragging it down into yet another Doctor Who discussion?
I mean, I know the daleks are set for a proper return and there's the odd Bad Wolf sighting or two going on about, but that

Non-spiderised, too. Isn't it fantastic? They even got the fleet correct. Black flying saucers, the infamous "Black Fleet" (a phrase used in the Virgin novels in order to avoid having the trademarked word "Dalek" in the text).

Shame the next episode seems to be about the Big Brother game show but if the Daleks are going to exterminate everyone, I guess it's alright.

Oh, sorry Bob. Went off on a tangent there. Were you saying something important?
