No, the AAS thread is seperate and not related to 'Spot.

If it were not for one person lagging behind in 'Spot, I wouldn't be stepping down. It's gotten that bad now, so I have to force the issue "upstairs."

Darren/Gav hasn't replied yet to my latest email. I'll drop another line later on tonight. Maybe I'll be able to get Chris involved...

Damn, why do you think this is relevant as a webcomic news? Specially when half of this community including your colleague in charge looked upon your little strike with disdain? Dude, you did everything you could to get in touch with them and yet they did not reply. Guess what, maybe they're just avoiding you.

I did not need to read that interview by Darren and Crosby to know that Keenspace is not their top priority. Specially in a time like this when they're possibly busy with people leaving and people coming. Now, here's what to do: if you feel like taking a break, take it. If you feel like your work is underappreciated and not worth the effort, then go. If you think you should let shit hit the fan so the co-owners take action, then do it. But stop making a fuss out of this. If the fab four don't want to reply your messages, they don't want it. Deal with this.

I don't want to take a break. I want to work on KeenSpace (or whatever it's going to be named).

My work is being appreciated by some in 'Spot, but others are holding things back and not allowing 'Space (and it's admins, both me and Kisai) to function. It's now come to a head. I can't get anything done on 'Space, therefore I'm not going to do any administration until things get resolved. I just can't wait anymore.

I'm not going to expect you to like it, RPin. There's alot of will not like it. I've already apologized to Kisai for the load, and let Ping, McDuffies, and Faub know too over IM and IRC. My only hope that it gets resolved ASAP -- which in all indications is not going to happen.

It makes me glad I can slap some filters on 'Space. I was working on some dynamic spam filters (block IP addresses that get trapped for 24 hours) before this mess.

Just a quick FYI ...

The modification I made to the forums two months ago allows an admin to give -some- admin access to specific users. So it's not like Kelly has the only key, just a skeleton key. Mr. Bob has access to the forum ranks, cause he's better at coming up with them. Yet he doesn't have access to the rest of the system.
