My leg still hurts from banging it up on the damn turnstile last week (the bruise actually looks kinda like ABOL, it's weird) and I have to clean the apartment (which I shouldn't be bitching about...I like it clean, I'd RATHER have it clean...I just don't wanna have to clean it myself).

Well, our main raid array's controller is shitting bricks, and so instead of going to class, I'm sitting here waiting for parts to arrive so that the plant can be up and operating tomorrow.

So I was tired last night. That's normal right?! I wanted it to be semi-quite in my apartment. That's normal... RIGHT?! Well it's not to my roommates and their fucking friends! First they wanna play guitar hero, but for some reason, you can't play that game with the sound on low, because then you'd have to actually listen. So I go to bed with a pillow over my head. (hey that rhymed!)
Then some of my roomies friends come over and talk! Finally they leave to go some where and I finally get a chance to sleep. WRONG! some ass holes I don't even know all pile into my apartment at about 1:40 and they turn on the TV cause they HAVE to watch Family Guy and then they play on the keyboard and guitar for a bit. But that's not what pissed me off. What pissed me off was when they decided to open the my bedroom door and sing Kiss Me with guitar and everything really loud! Because that's just a GREAT FUCKING THING TO DO AT 2 IN THE MORNING! So they finally shut the door after I throw shit at them, and then they stay around and talk and laugh. I finally heard them leave so I got up and turned off the TV, and right as I was going back to bed my room mates come in. I'm all pissed off and slam the door and the girl with them laughed about it to which I reply very rudely. But her defense was that "she didn't do it!" so it's totally ok to laugh! so I shut my door and go back to bed. Then at about 2:30 I get tired of them talking loudly so i go out to the living room and tell them to please be quiet, to which they respond very rudely so finally i go back to bed really pissed off and i finally go to sleep at about 4.

So I totally got all of 4 and a half hours of sleep last night! Great stuff!

This is one of those times I'm glad I have a realistic looking airsoft shotun in my closet. I've never had to use it to scare away drunken roommate friends when they get too noisy, but it's always been an option. That and I used to have the Color Guard M16s in my trunk and they also look very very real.

I'm working the 4:30 to midnight shift at the library because the usual person has had to take off two weeks after her gall bladder surgery (never mind that my Grandma who is in her 70's was up making sandwiches the next day, yet she needs two weeks off...

) . I'm not loving it.

And also, I've moved from sinus irritation to borderline infection. I am ick incarnate.

We're closing in on the third week of a massive clerical strike at my University. Some students are organizing a hunger strike, and, long as this has been going, I'm tempted to join them. I can't see why the ****ing administrators can't take a little slice out of their hefty paychecks just to help the poorest paid employees KEEP UP WITH INFLATION. It's ridiculous. Everyone supports the strikers but the people who actually make the decisions. Democracy at work, people.
