Have you read Dreamcatcher by Stephen King? Not the movie, the movie changed a lot of it.rock_dash wrote:Maybe it's a tapeworm.Eve Z. wrote:Since a few days I have a vicious apetite, eat and after 2 hours I'm starving again. I'm starved now.

Revenge of the unhappy thread.

Love the book. Wish that whoever was responsible for the movie would spontaneously combust.Killbert-Robby wrote:Have you read Dreamcatcher by Stephen King? I was rather upset with Misty all day. Trying to have a heart to heart talk but I'm getting all bleh about it. Because what I wanted to talk about wasn't intended to make her upset.
- ForumIt's possible, but I don't think I've met anyone who had continuous pain as an early symptom of pregnancy. For me it felt more like the ache of my period just starting, but it kept going away. (Quite confusing.)Eve Z. wrote:Since a few days I have a vicious apetite, eat and after 2 hours I'm starving again. I'm starved now.

Not really continous, but I don't want to describe everything in detail here, because I don't feel like I have to, knowing that you guys are not doctors.

Wasn't at first sure whether to post this in the happy thread or this thread...but since it further confuses me and complicates my already screwed up life, it's going here.
I may have accidentally gotten another job yesterday. I didn't want to come home after work, so I went to the theatre I worked at last year to visit some folks, and the lighting guy offered me a spotlight position. It's only for two shows a week, but it's on a Monday, which is Juanita's (the other manager at the dinosaur museum) day off, and when she doesn't open up, I do. Plus, just the thought of having three jobs at once kinda makes me shudder (and this isn't counting the acting job that I've been trying to get, either). And the time constraints...my comic is already sorta on hiatus, and I don't get to see my friends nearly enough (aside from the two I work with). Then again, I've been trying to wrangle a tech position for years now...I'd be stupid not to take it.

to top off an already fantastic week, a midge/black fly/punkie/ whatever-you-call-one-of-those-tiny-black-flying-and-biting-insects bit me on my eyelid, which has now swollen nearly closed.
I kinda look like that chick from the Talosian planet.
*sigh* at least I have a long weekend starting after classes today for labor day.

I have to work concessions at a Padre's game from 2:15 to 12:00. Yes, that's from 2 in the afternoon to midnight. No game watching, no beer drinking, no breaks, just a whole lot of stupid customers. And now I'm in a position of authority and that means helping run the whole damn booth.

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.
