Well, Spriteville and Nanda are managing to go, which makes me feel like a slacker. Just as well; I probably couldn't make it that weekend anyway.

I'm saving my money for the DC get-together. Which is still on, right?

I might be able to make that one, depending on the timing.

There's always carpool.

Yeah, that's where the 'adventurous' bit comes in.

Anyway, I live in western Washington.

*Sigh* I guess I'll have to go to Cali for absolutely no reason now. Maybe I'll kidnap one of the west coasters and bring them to ease my sorrow.

I wanted to update my suggestion of an RPG game.

I can go two ways for a game style that I could pull off. One is a zombie one. For the premise, a greyhound buss breaks down in a town. All hell breaks loose. Just like that. I have other things to go with but of course that'd ruin any surprise.

The other is a sci-fi thing. If you've played System Shock 2 then it'd take place in the same continuity. This would give a few psionic powers to go with a usual assortment of weapons. And the enemies would be freaky. If you haven't played, all the better cause then I look all original and you have no idea what's going on.

Also, I can make an assortment of pre-made characters, or we can plan on making them sometime soon.

(I need to go buy my first RPG GM stuff though if there is a big enough interest in this though so if at all possible some advance warning would be nice)

Count me in. The last one was an absolute blast, and I can't wait to hit faub with another pillow. :-D

Oh, and add me to the travel list. If anyone needs a ride from the central Missouri area (there's a limit of two spaces in my car - it's small), I'm available.

The Cookout Website Has Been Updated!

Changes:

KrisX has been removed from the maybe list. She can't make it. She's mean. Don't join her army. *sniff*

Corgan Dane is now a Maybe, down from a Yes. C'mon Corgan, MAKE IT HERE!

Dark Magician and his mother are making it. Very cool!

Chill Clan has asked for, and received, dibs on the couch. In light of his driving madness, it seemed only fair.

Christwiter can't take any riders.

Spriteville specifically has offered to run a zombie game or a sci-fi game; both sound kind of neat. I still strongly suggest to all want to be GMs to bring your stuff. We don't know what we'll play.

Fading Aura is making it again from last year! Willing to pick up people too, if you're in the Missouri area.

What I think about the recent changes;

1: KrisX is a girl?!?! Ok now I don't feel bad about her not wanting to take a ride with some strange guy, and believe me I'm strange.

2: Corgan Dane, I don't know who you are but please come. The more people there the better the odds of someone being able to call the fire department after we explode ourselves.

3: I really can't wait to see what craziness Dark Magician will inflict upon the next RPG.

4: AWESOME!

5: CW glad you'll be able to make it at least.

6: Haha zombies are cool huhuh!

7: Weeeeeya *runs around in circles and falls down*

Why did I make this list, because I was bored while eating lunch so :P .

Considering the tasering I'm no doubt going to recieve, and the projectiles lauched at me at the last cookout, I should get the other couch :@

Just don't pika-rape me this time.
NJ is also Orion's fiance of sexy passion with the love of a thousand sea monkeys

Pika-rape is fun.

And besides, we threw out one of our couches in favor of two really big papasans... a couple folks will be sleeping -well- that night.

I'm still mad I didn't get a photo of that after waking up all early; and getting pika-chu to violently violate him wasn't as easy as it looked. Oh well, I have a few months left, I'm sure I'll think of something to top that.

Well, I had this giant stuffed Pikachu (like three feet in diameter), and Orion was sleeping soooo peacefully...
