Had asked my roommate his opinion of MP3 phones (He sells phones for a living). He had no recommendations or advice, or anything to say reallt.

Soooo, when my girlfriend's cellphone that I ordered arrived, we brought it back and I showed it to him. He proceeded to tell us how many problems there are with that model and et cetera.

So this time I tried drawing a penis on his face....

6:00PM PST UPDATE: Tank is done except for the turret gunner. I'm running low on my primary color, but the gaming store is open until 10PM should I absolutely need to get more. I might just get some sleep...

Okokokokok I was going to have ALL SORTS of problems this month. All my friends are off school and going to Costa Rica (I'm not), so I was gonna be all alone in England. My contract on my room was going to run out, so I've been having problems finding a place for a short let to finish off the course. And I also just hate my school.

Which goes on til the 11th of next month

So, at some point today, the fridge seemed to have stopped working. Judging from the warmth of the food, I would estimate the damned thing may have been out most of the day, but my roommate and I only noticed it around thirty minutes ago. This means a 1:30 a.m. ice run, to try to salvage the meager larder supply we have. So, I get to get trailed by cops, and eyeballed by wary convenience store wage slaves who suspect me of the drunken Thursday partyboy I only am in my heart.

That cop really wanted to get me, too. I could tell by the way he sped up to ride my ass. Ha, copper! I follow all traffic laws, especially at Last Call! He had to break off to avoid looking conspicuous, when I pulled into a Wal*Mart parking lot, which apparently closes down at 11 p.m. A Wal*Mart closing so early? Who knew? Anyway, on my way back home, there were some punk teenagers walking down the center turn lane, and impeding my left turn. Where were the cops then, when people were actually breaking the law, and endangering the flow of traffic, as well as their own safety? Huh? I'll tell you where; hassling Joe Innocent, that's where.

I found ice, and made it back in time to pack our precious milk and eggs in it. Tomorrow, I go and borrow a tiny refrigerator from my folks, and have a chat with the landlord. All in all, a fine adventure was had.

Send a child home with a fever. Took two temp readings (both over what required to send home for) and got approval from asst. director to send child home. Well, child's mother goes home, takes temp and says 'baby's fine, no fever, I'm bringing him back.". Director said 'Of course, no problem." So I have a sick baby who's coughing in addtion to 7 other snotty nose, coughing babies. Last thing I need to do is get sick...again.

Hm. My school had a policy that said you stayed home the day after the fever subsided as well, just to be sure.

Is it racist for me to be outraged by the fact that the immigrant family with five kids who are moving into my 5 1/2 apartment when I leave (Yes, that's 7 people between 3 bedrooms) is on welfare? Or by the fact the immigrants living above me are also on welfare? Or by the fact the immigrants living across the hall from me are too?

We already have enough Native Americans in my province that are breeding welfare cheques - we don't need a bunch of African Muslims doing the same thing. Especially not when Quebec is already pissed off as it is about the sharp rise in immigration and the slow but sure degradation of Quebecois culture into a cheaper, more xenophobic French version of America's.
