Re: The Official Livejournal Substitute Thread!
I went to a football game. The final score between USC and Tennessee was 27 to 6 or something. Whatever. We kicked their ass and now I love football.
My mom gave me money. Whootz.
I had a sleepover with one of my girlfriends. It was great. We had cocoa :3
Probably one of the best weekends this semester.

*NOW* you love football?
First time I was exposed to the game after a lifetime of girlyman European soccer, it was like seeing a talking burning bush.

I was slightly annoyed by how tame it was and the constant tea breaks.Killbert-Robby wrote:*NOW* you love football?

Football would be twice as awesome if everyone actually sat down and drank tea in between plays.

I like football because their tight pants show off their butts. Of course some butts (like those of the linebackers) you don't really want to see. But I take my booty where I can get it.

Re: The Official Livejournal Substitute Thread!
football irritates me
soccer is more fun to play, although from what I hear quite a few of the professional players are whiny little bitches
Which is too bad, because I remember some of the sports I played with other girls in school got pretty goddamn violent
..man that was fun

Faking injuries and blowing them out of proportion to squeeze faul out is everyday stuff in footbal. Of course you can be punished for thatnowadays, if the judge doesn't fall for it.

Re: The Official Livejournal Substitute Thread!
Life is busy as hell and freaking weird.
The Bad: Busy as hell, as in too much homework, too much time spent at rehearsal for musical this week, and schedule is filled with various little meetings I have to attend, in addition to having to put my comic on hiatus until the musical I mentioned is over. Not that anyone cares about my comic.
The Good: My art is getting better (*slaps past self for not reading more tutorials more often*) which is a relief since I felt like I was in a slump for a bit, I had an awesome time last night losing at monopoly and winning at Smash Bros after going to see Eagle Eye for my friends 16th birthday, and the musical will finally be over after saturday.
The Neutral: I have to start seriously searching around for a college I might want to go to as well as figuring out what I am going to do with my life. Which has me all mixed up, because there are four major paths that I could venture down: Violin, Writing, Acting, and Drawing. At some point, at least two of these will have to go if I am to focus enough to excel.
Jake to self, please maintain current course until more data is gathered. End of Line.

Soccer players generally take their shirts off after the game to swap jerseys.Tellurider wrote:I like football because their tight pants show off their butts. Of course some butts (like those of the linebackers) you don't really want to see. But I take my booty where I can get it.

Re: The Official Livejournal Substitute Thread!
I just finished typing up my take-home midterm. It came out to thirty pages. It's a little less impressive when one considers that I included a lot of drawings and figures, but still! Thirty pages! Jesus. Pbbbt.

Football would be more interesting if the very same sport had to be played without any body armor, with no extra team members, and with a live badger as a ball.
Or maybe just with landmines. Randomly placed, two per side, somewhere between the 20 and 30 yard lines.

American Football isn't Rugby with pads. They're pretty different.
