I sorta like them on the sleeves, actually. But I always have trouble with important things on the back of the shirt...my hair often gets in the way, or if I wear a jacket it gets covered up.

This sounds like what we call "the maddies" down here. We use it to describe cats who are, more or less literally, bouncing off the walls. Fluffy tails are optional.
Eh, I experienced cat crazies... Our cat would get them every time I decided to take a walk around the backyard. She'd climb to my trousers or climb to a tree and then jump to my shoulders from the tree... I was the only one in the house who allowed her to do that, so she was using that any time she could.
Young cats, especially, get it alot. I remember when mine was young, she would just tear across the house. Literally. You could hear the carpet shredding as she zipped by. She liked to play tag with peoples' feet, too. And beware going up or down stairs...she WILL go for your legs. We used to have a toy on a string that we would use to distract her near the stairs at all times. I sort of think of it as paying the ferryman to cross the river Styx.
