We found a bigger apartment than the last one we looked at... for about fifty bucks less a month.
True, the super is a sort of a crazy/lonely old lady who apparently goes and knocks on doors just to say hi to people (she talked at us for over an hour when we went to look at the place) - but I can stand that.
I wish my camera was working.
For 835 a month, the place was BIG.
I waaaant it.
I sawed the Mythbusters in person over the weekend. They were having a kind of Q&A at the civic arts center in my parents town, and it was my brothers birthday present.
To describe? AMAZINGLY FANTASTICALLY OVERWHELMINGLY AWESOME. I'm personally amazed that Ryan isn't on a first name basis with these guys based upon what they do and how they work. Adam outright said that one of the myths he wants to test is that the first man-made object launched into space was not Sputnik but a manhole cover.
How? From the underground nuclear tests which may have funneled through abandoned sewer pipes in the area and launched the manhole cover into space. Adam wants to do a scale test, but it was determined that even with a manhole cover the size of a dime, it would take something like 50,000 pounds of explosives to replicate the nuclear detonation.
Anyways, the afternoon was filled with that and similar stories about the stuff you don't see or hear about, and concluded with a blooper reel, and an explosions reel.

Heed these words: I do not draw. Photos if you're lucky.
I saw a similar show when the Mythbusters came to my campus. Although it was Kari and Grant. I think I meant to post the (crappy) pictures I took, not sure if I did. I may when I get time later.
..I do wish the weather would make up its mind though.
If it wants to rain, fine. If it wants to snow, go nuts.
But I wish it would stop alternating rain/snow/sun every day
Yesterday was rainy and puddly, today was freezing and icy... I predict tomorrow will be sunny and melty again, so that the cycle can begin anew.

Yup.
Snow and very cold - negative temperatures.
Sunny and very warm - sixties and seventies.
Rainy and cool - thirties and forties.
Sunny and cool - thirties and forties.
Repeat
For the last three weeks.

Denial is not falsification. You can't avoid a fact just because you don't like it.
"Data" is not the plural of "anecdote"
