I did a little charity thing last weekend called "Book in a Day" where a group of people write, edit, illustrate, cover and bind a children's book in twelve hours after being given a randomised brief. Our brief involved an angel, an orang-outang, a scientific breakdown and a harbour (which we re-interpreted to be a space station). The embarrassing bad results get read, too. They go on the shelves of the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.
And I was the only one who could draw so I gots to do the cover.
Given I've never drawn an orang-outang before, let alone on in a space suit, I'm quite pleased with it. I seem to have forgotten his shoulders in the rush, however.
