Sit and listen; now I'll singCope wrote:85? This is gonna make it hard for future generations to write heroic ballads about us...
Of leaders brave and bold,
Who campaigned for the peoples' hearts
And for election strove!
Many champions emerged that day
To sway the public view
But only one could win the war
Only one be leader true
They voted on for forty days
And further fought for forty nights
They won the people over, yes,
But could not win the fight.
For soon they saw the world amiss
A painful spike stuck in the eye
When dust was gone and vision cleared,
They saw it was a tie!
Brave North on line with cunning Pin,
And himself aligned with Bob,
They had cleared the others out,
But left now was a mob.
The Spacers cried, the Spacers raged,
"We must vote again!
This tie is terrible, the tie is foul,
Only one can win!"
Then Jops stepped forth and cried aloud
With power of command,
"We vote once more from these three men,
And one shall rule the land."
But alas! Alack! Their vision failed,
The people raved and swore,
For though the vote was fair and true,
The parties tied once more!
It came to one to lead us through,
One hero for freedom to strive,
And then it was, sudden and swift,
The election fell to "eighty five".
Now we live as communists
Peaceful and united
Until one day when Anarchists rise...
"you fools, we stand divided!"
Okay, since Bob and I won the only logic solution is for us to build a wall over Keenspace dividing it in two halfs. On one we shall lead a happy life of exploration of the masses, large cigars and Space-chan porn. On the other half you dudes will just draw your collective comics until suckage is shared evenly among all.
I'm just a do... No, wait, I'm your worst nightmare...
WHAT THE HELL? I didn't even know there was a recount going on! I'd already gone on exile!Kirb wrote:And that's how the communist party won, I suppose.<Jops> Kirb, gimme a number!

<Mercury_Hat> They're so catch
<Mercury_Hat> y
<Jops> yeah, shoot a number, any number
<Mercury_Hat> 85, good number!
<Jops> Okay, Mr. Bob wins
<Mercury_Hat> Bad number.

Poor Bob.
Your style gives me fits of nostalgia, but I'm not sure of what. I guess they're sort of like Donald Duck plots. That must be it... Carl Barks' old Donald stories.

Due to the failure of the Anarchists to win election, in conjunction with the fact that none of them are apparently even vaguely acquainted with Anarchist theory (Chaos? Division? Who are you people and what have you done to the real Anarchists?), I have opportunistically jumped ship.
Following the failure of the stupid masses to recognize egalitarian non-hierarchical social relations as favourable, I have decided to accept the truism of elite doctrine. Society needs to be managed by a "specialized class", and I am, without a doubt in my mind, a member of this class. This should not cause myself distress, rather I should be grateful that Darwin smiles upon me.
Where on earth would the stupid proles be without my kind, I wonder. Without the admins or mods of Space, how would we function or achieve anything? We all look toward the successful webcomickers as our guiding lights, who pave the way and teach us skills. Without them, our artform is effectively dead. Brilliant philosophers across the spectrum recognize the necessity of concentrating power in the hands of this aristocratic class. Be they Ayn Rand or Vladimir Lenin, the elitist truths they espouse are one in the same.
At this point in time the only question left to me is which particular means to oligarchy should best be employed. Communism or Capitalism, as are apparently the two most favoured options as of now. Shall it be vicious gulags for the unruly artists, or clandestine operations?
No doubt, while I shall join forthwith to the Communist Party as they apparently now hold the reigns of power, and should they fail I will no doubt hastily join their successor, nevertheless throughout all of it, I shall seek opportunities which afford me the best realization of my megalomaniacal visions.
In summary, all hail Comrade Bob.

I withdraw my support of CapitalSpace. All hail president Bob
Someday, someday I'll finish Confabulation. That day is not today, however.
