Okay okay: let's make things in order.
I'll make a new thread, where the candidates can make their campaigns, promote themeselves, talk bad of other candidates and so on for two weeks.
At the end of the two weeks we will have a 3 days poll. The winner will be the new President of Keenspace or whatever it's name is gonna be.

I already made that thread... but not as thought out as your plans are.
=[
Np, you just had the right idea, but this way is more organized.Spriteville, USA wrote:Sorry =/

a measly 4 characters
is the only difference in the names--which could cause problems for... 12 year girls who prefer to shorten things from "for" to 4 and "to" to... 2.
While webcomicspace.com is longer than toonspace.com, I don't think it's going to break anyone's fingers to type out, PLUS it more accurately reflects what we've got going on here.
Really, I don't care, either is fine as long as these fine folk keep giving me a cool way to host my stuff.

Why not keeenspace? (I think kneespace would be stupid
) or whatspace or I think webcomicspace says everything about the site, and some people will be less likely to enter the site already knowing what the content is.
keenspace- a mysterious domain
webcomicspace- place where many people can put their webcomics, probably for free, so the URL nutcracker.webcomicspace.com looks like just another crap made by some kid who can`t draw (which is true in my case, that`s why I don`t like it
)
I really don`t mind toonspace, but I understand that spacers making some serious comic hate it.
I guess giving us choice between about 5 names is the best choice.
Oh, and what do you think about inkspace?

Inkspace is already in use.

I had a dream involving DoomBees last night...
I'm really torn personanly, I'm leaning towards webcomicspace even though it's clunky, but I really think that there could be a better name.
what about SpacePlace?

Someday, someday I'll finish Confabulation. That day is not today, however.

...why change?
Hey I may be out of the loop, but why change at all, I like Keenspace as a name, I've been reading comics here for a few years, and it seems stupid to change the name when alot of people know it. Plus, both of your proposed names kinda...suck, to put it bluntly. Maybe something more...catchy: storyspace.com, netospace.com (as in neto-keen dude!
)...I dont know, I'm no good at naming things that I cant make words up on! But just something more then 'webcomicspace.com' or 'toonspace.com'!
Re: ...why change?
Because the owners of "Keen" don't want "KeenSpace" to use "Keen" anymore. There was a huge alternate name suggestion thread in this same forum, and another one last September. I agree it wasn't announced well (though currently there's some info related to it on keenspace.com), but maybe you should read a few more threads, and your questions will be answered.Paoken wrote:Hey I may be out of the loop, but why change at all, I like Keenspace as a name, I've been reading comics here for a few years, and it seems stupid to change the name when alot of people know it. Repeating this message in two days probably, since someone else will ask instead of reading.
