The comic discussion thread

Post by Ronald_MacK »

So you want to say something about a certain comic? Were the thumbs on the wrong side of the hands in the latest one? Did you like the joke? Did something not make sense? This would be the place to discuss such matters. It's probably best of you refrence the date or give a brief description of the particular comic, that way weeks down the road we'll still know what is being talked about.

For example:
Johnny Nooneactuallysaidthis wrote:In the February 3rd comic ('06), what is Mycroft asking to finish? What was with all the crunching?
To which I would reply; Mycroft was eating the stick from his corndog, as beavers often eat the bark and twigs off of trees. In the last panel, Vanilla is pointing at him with her stick, not her finger, and he is asking if he can have it.

There ya go folks. Go nuts.[/quote]

Comic for 3 Feb '06

Post by Rayasmith »

This one took about two seconds for everything to click. Then I bust out laughing and almost got ramen on my screen.

This is why I like the comic (not sucking up...just letting you know that I enjoy this webcomic enough that it's never on my "should I cut" list)

huh... i really dont understand how Vanillia suddenly doesnt have any clothes on... and i really hope Mycroft still has his pants or at least his boxers on... else it looks really bad for him...
"What happened" "Well you fell asleep-- so i undressed you and put you in the bed... then well i got undressed and got in the bed with you..." "O_O" "Uhmm-- Vanillia i know it sounds weird but-- wow that does sound weird! Err-- I - ummm-- BOOBIES!" *Jumps out the window*
:p

Anywho! Keep up the good work ^^ thanks for being so active in my forum ^^ - Talk to ya later Ron...

Heh, I knew at least one person would end up asking me about that. Well, all will be explained in the next comic (as was intended). As for why I wrote it that way... I wanted it to match up with a certain guest comic. :P

Wow

Personally, I'm really surprised that Mycroft would even do that at all. For him to be willing to strip down and hop into bed with Vanillia mostly nekkid doesn't make sense to me, especially since a random, "meaningless" kiss earlier caused so much distress. Being tired and hot just doesn't seem like it would be enough motivation to overcome his inhibitions, it seems so out of character for him. I'm still kinda expecting for this to turn out to be a dream on the part of one of the two, though I may have to readjust my perception of their characters.

Well, I think I can clear some things up.

Mycroft and Vanilla are kind of used to sleeping together. They've been friends for awhile, and shared many busrides and such together, so falling asleep with eachother isn't anything new. Also, I intended for him to lie down on top of the bed, then slip out of his duds and get under the sheets in a half-asleep state, not really aware of where he was.

But that information was never really given in the comic, so I can see why it would seem brazen of him.

Ohhhhh. I suppose that works. It's certainly going to make things awkward, though. I'm intrigued to see where this goes.

He has no idea how lucky he is. Anyone else most likely would have been slaped by now.

Of course, the angry father. Every cute girl has got to have one of those. Too bad for Mycroft. XD

I'm all for family togetherness and I love Scrabble. But oh man, that is just mean. How I will make it until Monday wondering how Mycroft gets out of this I don't know. That'd better have been one good game of Scrabble

Even under this pressure, Mycroft still manages to keep his cool.

I think good versions of the sound are CRUNCHes and bad versions are KRUNCHes. But that's just an opinion.
