I have been drawing this comic for over a year now and in that time I have yet to receive any sort of review. I've received a couple of comments about my art being nice and my writing being funny/weird but nothing about what makes my art (writing) good what makes it bad. I have not received any constructive criticism so I have no idea what people like or don't like about my comic or things I could change to improve it.
Just the other day someone told me that they didn't like the "floating body" effect (don't move the edge of the characters below the line of sight) of the characters. That's the first time I've heard anyone complain about it. Though I'm not expecting much if you could give a review or critique (doesn't have to be a large one a little simple one will do) of my comic, you can include things like website design and others if you like, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
------------------

So, whatever you feel like doing, I'd say do it. Floating bodies don't matter so much to me so long as the content is there, and rest assured, the content is definately there.

I know some art colleges offer a degree in "sequential art," which to my understanding is more or less a degree in comics, comic-strips, and storyboards.
To me, that just means someone put forth a lot of effort to come up with names for things that people do in comics and now charges an arm and a leg to tell you what they are, so that you can claim to be certified. Probably looks good on the resume of someone applying for a position at a film studio as a storyboarder or whatever. "BA in Sequential Art..."
Most people have only limited exposure to comics, like the main newspapers and occasionally some printed independents or school newspapers. Typically these follow general guidlines.
However, the web-comic movement (led by Scott McCloud) is all about breaking down the conventions and rules that sequential artists have to deal with.
So, whatever you feel like doing, I'd say do it. Floating bodies don't matter so much to me so long as the content is there, and rest assured, the content is definately there.
For what it's worth, that's my 2 cents. (probably worth $0.02).
JB
------------------

Also I like to think that this gives me my own style. So when someone who's familiar with my work sees something else I do they'll instantly be able to say "That was done by EteRock".
But maybe that's just me
